We’d like to let you know that the City Defense Z demo will be removed from access on Friday, March 28, 2025, as its time has come to an end. But don’t worry we’ll be back with brand new content! 🎉
There are two main reasons behind this decision:
1. The Demo Gameplay Loop Is Outdated
Our gameplay loop and core mechanics have evolved significantly since the demo was first released. We believe the experience offered in the current demo no longer accurately reflects what players will enjoy in the full version.
2. The Demo Lacks Key Content
Since the demo's launch, we’ve added a ton of new features and improvements that have taken the game to a whole new level. Defense strategies have changed, resource management has become deeper, and city building is now much more satisfying. Plus, new types of zombies are on their way!
Until March 28, you can still download and play the demo. Your support means the world to us, and your feedback has been incredibly helpful in shaping the game’s development.
When we return, it’ll be with a bigger, better, and even more immersive game!

We have an important announcement to share! We are thrilled to let you know that we’ve been working on new features and improvements to take your city defense strategies and tactical decisions to the next level. While these features are not yet playable, we wanted to give you a sneak peek at the exciting updates that will enhance your city-building and survival challenges.These patch notes are part of our goal to make the game more dynamic, balanced, and engaging. Sharing these new additions, designed to help you defend your city more effectively against zombie hordes and manage your resources more efficiently, is a source of great excitement for us.Now, let’s dive into the changes introduced in this update.
[h3]Adaptive Fog System[/h3]
Explore the map freely and push the boundaries of your scouting. This system allows for strategic exploration and improves your ability to control key regions.
[h3]New Zombie Types and Visual Updates[/h3]
Surviving just got tougher with the addition of new zombie types. These zombies, equipped with unique abilities, will put your strategic thinking and quick decision-making skills to the test.
[h3]New Buildings and Visual Improvements[/h3]
New buildings have been added, and existing building features have been improved. With a continuity-focused system, you can use your buildings to extend your survival time. How many days can you hold out?
[h3]New Zombie Camps[/h3]
Zombie camps are now part of the game! Raid these camps to weaken the zombies’ forces and gather valuable resources. Using this strategy effectively will be key to survival.
[h3]Updated Airplane System[/h3]
Airplanes have been redesigned as units, each with unique characteristics. With this new system, you can deploy your planes for strategic purposes.
[h3]Main Building and Attack Directions[/h3]
The main building is no longer defended with its back against the wall. Zombie attacks now come from four different directions, offering a more challenging and immersive gameplay experience that requires defense from all sides.
[h3]RTS Unit Management System[/h3]
RTS elements have been introduced to the game. You can now issue commands such as Patrol, Attack, and Hold Position to your units, allowing for more effective management.
[h3]Day Cycle and Zombie Attacks[/h3]
The day cycle is now active. Zombies will not only attack at night but also carry out small-scale assaults in the mornings. Previously, recovering your city after multiple zombie attacks was incredibly challenging. To address this, we’ve adjusted the frequency of zombie attacks, limiting them to certain days rather than every day. This change creates a more balanced gameplay experience, avoiding situations where recovery becomes impossible.
