We’re excited to announce that The Whims of the Gods will be part of Steam’s Next Fest starting Monday, June 9th! The public demo will be available from June 9 at 12 PM CST | 10 AM PST | 1 PM EST until June 16, and we can’t wait for you to experience a slice of what we’ve been building. You’ll get a hands-on feel for city-building, resource management, technological progression, co-op gameplay, survival systems, and early divine interactions. It’s designed to give you a strong first impression of the systems and gameplay depth we're working toward.

Dear strategic city-building fans!

Today is a special day in Poland, and we celebrate a significant historical moment. Back in 1791, the Four-Year Court adopted a constitution that brought major changes to the country's political and social systems.

To mark this occasion, we are excited to invite you to check out our game. As of today, the Polish Constitution Days are live on Steam, and we are thrilled to be part of it! From April 26 to May 3, you will find The Whims of the Gods featured alongside other amazing games from Polish developers, worth exploring!

In The Whims of the Gods, you will step into the shoes of ancient city pioneers, building and protecting a thriving metropolis. Team up with another player, manage your city’s needs, fortify its defenses, and fend off threats from deep within the volcano. Oh, and don’t forget about the whims of the gods - they are not exactly fans of your efforts.

City Builder & Colony Sim Fest 2025 has come to an end, and we want to wholeheartedly thank everyone who checked out The Whims of the Gods! ❤️ It was an incredible pleasure to see so many of you dive into the game world, discover its secrets, and share your impressions. Your feedback and suggestions are invaluable to us - they help us improve the game and make us develop it with even more enthusiasm!

Thus, our third public playtests of The Whims of the Gods have just finished. We will not hide - the interest in The Whims of the Gods exceeded our expectations! Many more people than before signed up for the playtests. This is a great joy for us and motivation for further work! However, we are most pleased with the quality of the feedback we received. Each of you approached the game with great commitment, sharing valuable insights and constructive criticism.


Your support and open communication, especially on our Discord channel, made this time special. Thanks to you, we were able to make numerous improvements, fix the bugs we found, and refine many elements of the game. We also corrected the errors in the tutorial. We have eliminated blockers in various combinations of their traversal and improved the optimization of pathfinding by workers. And many others. Fortunately, smaller ones!
