I rarely post on the main game channel, but today's update is for everyone, not just our Playtest participants. Here's what we'll cover:

Game and playtest status
Development on ☵ HIRAETH continues with regular Steam Playtest updates. While I'm a solo developer, the pace matches that of larger teams due to the complexity involved.
Remember, the Playtest version isn't a demo but a tool for refining the game, currently lacking full gameplay features and optimized for testing, not final user experience.[h2]PROGRESS[/h2]
[h3]Since our Kickstarter, we've introduced:[/h3]
- Save/Load System: For player and world states.
- Dynamic Weather System: Including calendar-based events like sandstorms and blizzards.
- New Weapon System: With various weapons and ammo types.
- Enhanced AI: Including flying drones.
- First Vehicle: Among other unannounced updates.
Some of these features are in Playtest; others are slated for Early Access or beyond.
Release plans
As you can see on Steam the planned release date is 2024 and there is not much time left. Although this date is still valid, I want to release a game that is polished and interesting for you.

Early Access will feature
"ETERNAL" mode, an endless survival sandbox with diverse locations ranging from deserts to Arctic zones, each with unique challenges and biomes.
[h2]Full game[/h2]
Full Game Release will follow Early Access, expanding on
"ETERNAL" and introducing
"REVELATIONS", a story mode with the first of five planned chapters.
Indiegogo campaign
We've just launched the pre-launch page for our Indiegogo campaign, aiming to fund further development and high-quality elements like a fully orchestral soundtrack by
Michele Masin, known for his work on films like
"1917" and
"Midsommar." This campaign is crucial for hiring voice talent, like
Andy Mack from
"Dying Light 2" and for general game refinement. Support at this stage means exclusive perks at a fraction of the final game's cost.

A lot of heart, sweat and blood went into ☵ HIRAETH. A lot has been done, but the success of the project lies in the details, which take time, and time is money. Every aspect of ☵ HIRAETH requires meticulous attention, from sound design to voice acting. Funds from Indiegogo will ensure these elements meet AAA standards, enhancing your experience significantly.
