Soulmask Early Access Regular Update 16

Dear Chieftains,

To provide a better gaming experience, the server will undergo maintenance. It will be temporarily unavailable starting from August 15, at 7:00 AM UTC, with an expected downtime of 30 minutes. This update includes a client update, and chieftains will need to update their client to enjoy the game normally. We are very grateful for your understanding and support.

The update details are as follows:

[h3][New Features and Adjustments][/h3]

Added a switch to enable or disable target locking.

New sound effects have been added for unmounting Crossbow Tower and Siege Ballista.

Added a "pause game" option to the Esc menu in the single-player version.

Vegetation surrounding the city walls will no longer proliferate.

If the Great Sword's 'uplift' skill is interrupted, the restraint debuffs on the target will be removed.

Higher-quality barbarians, creatures, or mechanical units now yield increased EXP.

Wall torches and standing torches now have new rain effects.

[h3][Bug Fixes and Optimizations][/h3]

Fixed an issue where tribesmen, in a non-following state, fail to exit the dungeon properly in both single-player and room environments.

Fixed an issue that allows wells and fertilizer buckets to be placed independent of terrain constraints.

Fixed a display error affecting certain blackstone stair icons.

Fixed an issue where the enhanced longbow's golden skill did not work as intended.

Fixed an issue where the Quick Remodel feature after the 3rd data update was not functioning.

Fixed an issue where buffs were not added after a Remodel.

Fixed a display issue with hairstyles when changing them during Mimicry.

Fixed an issue preventing player from going through custom portals carrying arrows.

Fixed an issue where half-walls could replace full walls.

Fixed an issue that caused mechanical NPCs to be affected by Bleed effects.

Optimized tool recommendations for Mining.

Optimized the sound effects of Power Crafting Tables (added sounds for shutdown, wire pulling, and connecting activities).

PvP Server Season Reset Schedule: First Batch

Dear Chieftains:

After careful consideration and planning, we are announcing our plans to reset the PvP server season. The reset and data clearing will occur in batches based on the server opening times.
We understand that this decision will impact all PvP players, which is why we are notifying you one month in advance. Here is our explanation for this action plan and its benefits for players:

[Competitive Balancing and Fair Play]: The season reset ensures a fair competitive environment for all chieftains, allowing both new and experienced players to start each new season on equal footing and re-engage in the thrill of PvP battles.

[Server System Stability]: As more players continue to explore the world, game servers are nearing full capacity, negatively affecting gameplay. The season reset and data clearing will enhance server performance and reduce latency, ensuring a smoother experience in Soulmask.

[Updates to Improve PvP Fairness]: As Soulmask is still in early access, we are planning major updates with a focus on improving PvP gameplay. Clearing game data will provide a fresh start for all chieftains and will ultimately result in better PvP gameplay.

With the PvP server season reset underway, we will soon announce our new server plan. Details will be provided to all chieftains via the server planning document.

We believe that this season reset will offer a more stable, fair, and exciting gameplay experience in Soulmask, Your feedback is welcome to help us improve the game. Thank you for your understanding and support.

A new top cover prompt has been added for Campfires and other buildings.
New rain sound effects have been added for Campfires, Bonfires, Torches, and Fire Pits.
A new standby sound effect has been added for Power Crafting Tables.
The production of the cloths necessary for crafting tribe gear has been increased.
When selecting HP recovery items at home, tribesmen will prioritize bandages over other instant recovery items.
The building comfort level prompt now displays the maximum number of same-type buildings that can be stacked.
When Parrot Rack are removed, parrots no longer die instantly.
Improved the auto-collection feature at Mines.
A dynamic difficulty switch has been added for boss or elite battles based on the number of players.
A visual effect indicating out-of-combat range has been added during boss and elite battles.
The default Stamina Recovery Speed coefficients in both Hard and Master difficulties have been reduced.
Water tanks and water buckets filled with water are now directly drinkable; tribesmen and mounts can also use them to replenish hydration.
New environmental sound effects have been added for regions such as Mangrove, Plateau, Wetland, Volcano, Desert, and Snow Mountain.
The volume of environmental sounds and background music is now automatically lowered in most full-screen interfaces.
Once mines reach their storage capacity, tribesmen will transfer the resources to nearby mine chests.
A new setting has been added to adjust the coefficient for mount summoning distance.
The chat function now has a 2-second cooldown and a limit of 300 characters per message.
Optimized the sitting animation.

Fixed an issue affecting the appearance of hairstyles under specific circumstances.
Fixed an issue with certain trap constructions calculating the distance to others' as excessively far during placement.
Fixed an issue where the mammoth's right tusk did not contribute to comfort levels.
Fixed an issue where the beds in the barracks might not function correctly.
Fixed an issue preventing deployed tribesmen from using instant HP recovery items.
Fixed an issue where the Fang Tribe Leader's Poisonous Fog did not display the expected visuals.
Fixed an issue where fences and lighting buildings could be constructed around another one's base.
Fixed an issue with windows being unable to Retrieve and Repair.
Fixed an issue where tribesmen titled with the "Chest Breaker" failed to open chests normally.
Fixed an issue where some Stone buildings could stack with buildings made of other materials.
Fixed an issue where external environmental noises could be heard inside caverns.
Fixed an issue with characters being charged double Stamina for auto-running upon respawn.
