Soulmask Ban List Update - July 12th

Dear Chieftain:

Soulmask is very concerned about the fairness of the game and is fully committed to creating a favorable playing environment. Our operations team will review violations and take necessary measures.If any player is found to have violated the rules, we will take actions such as issuing warnings, imposing speech bans, or even banning accounts.

If you encounter any violations in the game, we strongly recommend that you report the offending player in the game or inform our administrators through the community, so that we can address the violations as soon as possible. We hope you have a pleasant experience in the game!

Recently, a total of 158 players who violated the rules have been banned (including but not limited to behaviors such as cheating, which seriously undermines the fairness of the game, and promoting cheat information in chat channels, etc.). The list includes those who have received either permanent bans or short-term suspension warnings:

Soulmask Early Access Regular Update 11

Dear Chieftains,

To provide a better gaming experience, the server will undergo maintenance. It will be temporarily unavailable starting from July 11, at 7:00 AM UTC, with an expected downtime of 30 minutes. This update includes a client update, and chieftains will need to update their client to enjoy the game normally. We are very grateful for your understanding and support.

Fresh Meats changed to recovering Satiety instantly from recovering Satiety over several seconds

The tribesmen cap that can be recorded in Solo and Private Server has been raised to 10

Optimized the action of using bandages. Can use bandages while squatting, and using bandages while falling down doesn't slow you down

Ironblood Guard - Sequence Protection's Crit Resist has changed from 8% to 20%

Ironblood Guard - Muscle Revival new effect: Charges the healing energy every 180 seconds in duration. Once entering the Near-death status, releases energy immediately to heal injuries

Nature Enlightenment can summon animals with ≤Awareness Level +10 instead of ≤Awareness Level
Optimized the clipping-check rule in placing Brewing Stand

In PVP Mode, you can plunder supplies from all kinds of tables directly after 20% of their durability is destroyed. We've added a reminder when it could be plundered

Audio-related Optimizations: Optimized the decay of the wave sound over distance to make it smoother. Added the sound effect for the Blizzard weather. Reduced the volume of the "Icy Cold" and "Extreme Cold" sound effects

Can put cups and bowls into Ice Cellar

"Decor Table" has been renamed "Mask Decor Table". The corresponding name at technology nodes has also been changed to avoid confusion

Mask module placement adjustments in dungeons: Lv.40 dungeons yield Nature Enlightenment's modules, and Lv.50 dungeons yield Ironblood Guard's modules

Fixed the issue that Anti-Radiation Tower didn't work in some cases

Rectified the Satiety Bonus of Refined Ostrich Feed

Fixed the issue of gauntlet's mastery skill - Monkey Fist: After the skill was interrupted by rolling, could still stack the Crit Buff by using other skills to attack

Fixed the issue that when the barrack's Alarm was triggered, the alarm's sound effect was still on even after it was demolished

Fixed the issue that the caretaker tribesman for Bonfire couldn't auto-repair Groundspike, Peg Board, and other traps

Fixed the issue that the caretaker tribesman for Bonfire couldn't auto-repair Wooden Man

Fixed the issue that couldn't get the Sweet Home and Comfort buffs while under the stair

Fixed the issue that the dismissed tribesmen could still be deterred

Fixed the issue that the sound effect was still on after the execution action was interrupted

Fixed the issue that "Wasteland Wolf" of the Desert could be spawned in the Random Invasion event of Snow Mountain

Fixed the issue that the scanning laser of Central Core couldn't attack ultra-close targets

Fixed the abnormal electrical skill effect of mechanical beings. Now you can't use metal shields to block the electrical damage of mechanical beings anymore (not for wooden shields and bone shields)

Fixed the issue that Central Core Boss had a chance to get players stuck (knocks players inside its body airborne when releasing skills)

Fixed the issue that when the language was set as German/Portuguese, couldn't set the Craft Quantity properly when it was over 999

  • Added Advanced Sticky Explosive Can
  • Added new sitting postures in chairs
  • Added New Meat Chunk and Refined Meat Chunk for carnivore animals to eat
  • In PVE Mode, the burning bonfire can prevent constructions from being attacked by wild animals
  • Added ice probe to the Minerals Probe at mask nodes
  • The ice cubes in the bag can slow down the spoilage of food
  • Added the Weapon Intro interface to showcase the basic skill of weapons. (like Light Strike, Leap Slash, etc.)
  • Upgraded anti-cheat system: Enhanced the detection of cheat codes (For fair competition, please allow the installation of GameSecurityService when you first enter the official server)
  • GM Command for increasing other players' Mask EXP: AddMaskExpToTarget


[h3][Experience Optimizations][/h3]

  • The duration of the animals summoned by Nature Enlightenment has been increased to 30 minutes from 10 minutes
  • Optimized the effect of Nature Enlightenment - Nature's Heart: The summoned animals heal for 1% of Max HP per second additionally
  • The animals summoned by Nature Enlightenment can now enter the combat mdoe more rapidly upon spotting enemies.
  • The follow distance of flying units summoned by Nature Enlightenment is more reasonable now
  • The animals summoned by Nature Enlightenment now can go through large portals while following
  • Added anomaly protection to tribesmen. Players can now control the tribesmen to prevent them from continuously lying on the groud
  • Logic optimization for picking up animals and placing them on shoulders
  • Adjusted default facing of the placed wooden man
  • Reduced food consumption speed of the Piranha Pool
  • Optimized collision of the portal
  • During the Single Sacrificial Ritual in Barbarian Barrack, the tribesmen of the same player can only be captured once by the Tribute Capturer NPC
  • Optimized tips of Barbarian Barrack on the map. Added a time reminder for monster spawning.
  • Honey can be used from Shortcut now
  • The Stone Brick needed for building Piranha Pool changed to Stones or Flints
  • Greatly increased the EXP from finishing the Tablet exploration. The tablet in areas of a higher level yields more EXP
  • The changed game coefficient that is different from the default value is marked in red

Official PvP and PvE servers for Australia and South America are coming soon. The first official servers in Australia will be available to players on July 5, 2024, at 08:00 UTC. Dear Chieftains,

To provide a better gaming experience, the server will undergo maintenance. It will be temporarily unavailable starting from July 2, at 7:00 AM UTC, with an expected downtime of 30 minutes. This update includes a client update, and chieftains will need to update their client to enjoy the game normally. We are very grateful for your understanding and support.

The update details are as follows:

  • Fixed the issue where players returning to the main menu or exiting the game from a random dungeon in single-player or room servers could cause the main character's position to be abnormal on re-entry.
  • Optimized the way monkeys manage stored items.
  • If resources transferred feature of the self-crafting basic portals remains disabled, the following monkeys cannot be teleported; the monkeys stop following when the owner dies.
  • Fixed the issue with the Enhance Tools being unable to be repaired (while old items are still irreparable, new items no longer have this problem).
  • Fixed the issue with abnormal dissecting yields from the arctic wolves in ruins.
  • Corrected the damage of Anaconda to constructions.
  • Fixed the conflict that arises when multiple anti-radiation towers effect overlap.
  • Adjusted the durability deduction method for repairing weapons, gears, and tools (the same fixed value is deducted for the same type, regardless of quality or maximum durability).
  • The effect of "Death Bringer" title is now activated when the target has less than 30% HP or is in near-death status.
  • Added a GM command in private servers to grant specified players extra Awareness EXP. (Aim at the specified player and enter the command: gm AddExpToTarget [value])
  • Optimized the AI functionality of deployed tribesmen; they can detect enemies and enter combat more swiftly in Active mode.
  • Fixed an issue in friend connection mode where the ripple effects from swimming disappeared when riding a panther.
  • Fixed the issue with shield blades producing blood splash effects when missing their target during basic attacks.
  • Players who are 'uplifted' by a great sword cannot be launched into the air again within 15 seconds.
  • During the execution of 'uplift' by great sword, the user is immune to being launched into the air by others.
  • Fixed an issue where the cavern background music would continue to play after leaving the cavern.
  • After the activation of new large Holy Ruins and Pyramid portals, their icons will be clearly marked on players' maps.
