Game Development Log (Issue 17)

Hello, dear immortals!
Time flies, and once again, it's time for another update to our development log~
We're planning to update the Steam version of Endless Immortal Journey on May 17th. The main content of this version update includes:

【New Content】
Equipment Refinement: Added the equipment refinement feature in the forge room, unlockable after upgrading the forge room to level 3.
Forge Room Enhancements: Added auto-sell and collect functions.
Talent Hall: Added an auto-recruit feature.
Chapter Two Updates: Added new storyline dialogues (players who have already progressed past this point may not trigger them).
Interface Improvements:
Added a quick close interface feature by pressing ESC.
Added red dot notifications for completing tasks and acquiring new characters.
【Bug Fixes】
Skill Fix: Fixed an issue with Da Xia Long Dao's passive skill (Valiant Breakthrough) that was incorrectly knocking back the enemy's action bar.



【A Special Note】
Dear immortals, with this update, we have almost completed the planned content for the Demo version. To accelerate project development and ensure the stability of the Steam Demo, we will be pausing content updates for the Steam version of Endless Immortal Journey (regular bug fixes will continue).

Game Development Log (Issue 16)

Greetings, fellow immortals!
Time flies, and once again, it's time to update our development log~
We're planning to update the Steam version of Endless Immortal Journey on May 12th. The main content of this version update includes:

[New Content]
Added the ability to cancel ongoing equipment forging in the forge room (full refund of remaining resources upon cancellation).
Introduced the ability to sell and lock items in the backpack interface.
Added a feature in battles to view character buffs information through tips.
Displayed equipment names and icons crafted using spirit essence-type intermediary materials.

[Adjustments]
Adjusted the function where using martial arts no longer consumes martial arts books. Martial arts books can now be sold and will be used in future features such as decomposition and upgrades.
Auto-sorting of martial arts in the Dao Path based on their quality.
Increased font size for dropdown menu texts in the backpack, character info, and other interfaces.
Restructured the equipment forging feature in the forge room, with the intermediary material slot unlocking at building level 2.
Expanded the range of roll values for each prefix of equipment with increasing quality (existing equipment remains unaffected).
Increased the maximum number of random attributes for martial arts to up to 4 as equipment quality improves, but reduced the attributes for each (existing martial arts remain unaffected).

[Bug Fixes]
Fixed an issue where quickly selling equipment in the forge room did not properly destroy the equipment.
Fixed a problem where some flawless-quality equipment did not display all attributes.
Fixed an issue where the quality of dropped martial arts books in stages did not match expectations.

Additionally, this log will introduce the upcoming equipment refinement feature in the next update.



After upgrading the forge room to level 3 in the sect, the "equipment refinement" feature will be unlocked.
Using this feature, players can further refine one or multiple pieces of equipment. For example:
Fusion of multiple identical and quality equipment to upgrade the quality of one randomly selected piece.
Later on, players can stabilize and increase the quality of a specific piece of equipment (but stability comes with increased material consumption).
Each piece of equipment can select up to one "random attribute" for refinement (only this attribute can be refined subsequently).
...and more features. These refinement options will gradually unlock as the forge room level increases.

First of all, wishing everyone a happy May Day holiday!
It's time for another update to our development log~

We're planning to update the Steam version of Endless Journey on April 30th. The main content of this version update includes:

[New Content]
·Added the character realm "Crystal Realm," breakthrough materials for this realm can be obtained from Chapter Two stages.
·Introduced item drops for existing stages (including brand-new martial arts drops).
·Added martial arts node functionality in the Dao Path system, allowing characters to be strengthened by consuming martial arts.
·Implemented a total timeline display of character action values during battles.
·Introduced the enemy "Thunder Beast" in Chapter Two.
[Adjustments]
·Adjusted the "tier" of equipment, now requiring characters to reach the corresponding realm to equip them.
·Characters can no longer use the Dao Path function before breaking through to the Foundation Building realm.
·Adjusted the drop levels of items in some stages.
·Lowered the difficulty coefficient of early Chapter Two stages.
[Bug Fixes]
·Fixed a bug where items were not properly destroyed when quickly selling equipment in the forge room.

In this log, let's delve into the martial arts feature introduced in this update.



After characters reach the Crystal Realm, they can initiate martial arts training in the Dao Path.
Players can obtain martial arts books through stage drops, quest rewards, or marketplace purchases.
Different types of martial arts books correspond to different attributes, with higher-quality martial arts providing higher values and additional attributes.
Placing martial arts books in the martial arts nodes of character paths will grant corresponding attribute bonuses (note: this will consume martial arts books).
Additionally, some martial arts have associated counterparts. If characters simultaneously practice these martial arts, they can unlock stronger attribute bonuses!
Finally, in future updates, perhaps we can merge two sets of martial arts to create unique and unparalleled martial arts!
