Game Development Log (Issue 14)

Greetings, fellow immortals!
Time flies, and once again, it's time to update our development log~

Here are the highlights of this week's version update:

[New Content]
- Introduced resource output and building upgrade features for the sect system (players who meet the unlocking conditions will automatically access these).
- Added a new character for Chapter Two - Long Banner of Great Xia, obtainable through Chapter Two quests.
- Implemented expanded item menus for certain interfaces.
- Added seasonal display effects and corresponding background music for the sect.
- Included new sound effects for some characters and enemies.

In this log, let's introduce the new character debuting in this update - Long Banner of Great Xia.



Long Banner of Great Xia hails from the Xuan Yuan Pass (Chapter Two) region and possesses the Gold attribute. Here's her skill set:

Conquest:
Deals % of her own attack power as damage to a single enemy target.
On a critical hit: Invites a random allied character to battle.
[Invited Battle]: Triggers an immediate additional attack for the allied character.

Unstoppable Force:
Applies a certain number of stacks of "Fierce Attack" and "Empower" to all allied units.
Then, invites the highest attack allied character to battle.

Bloodied Pennant Song:
Aura effect:
All allied characters are affected by "Bloodied Pennant Song".
[Bloodied Pennant Song]: Increased life drain and speed.

Fearless Charge:
Increases damage when allied characters perform additional attacks and advances the target's action bar by a certain amount.

Game Development Log (Issue 13)

Greetings, fellow immortals!
Time flies, and once again, it's time to update our development log~

Here are the highlights of this week's version update:
[New Content]
- Added the feature to use medium materials (such as Dust Crystals, Spirit Cores, Remnant Souls, etc.) for auxiliary forging during equipment crafting.
- Introduced 25 new skills corresponding to equipment medium material forging (not all, more to come in future updates).
- Revealed the ultimate moves and passive skill sets for all existing enemy characters, making them fully evolved :).
- Added display of enemy mana points (action bars have been removed accordingly; a "Character Action Timeline" will be added in future updates).
- Unveiled new stages for Chapter Two, allowing players to challenge the area boss "White Tiger" in exploration mode (dialogues and corresponding quests are still in development).
- Implemented a feature to display equipment comparison tips in the equipment tab of the character information interface.
- Added some new features and audio effects for combat.
[Adjustments]
- Tweaked the drop rules for stages to differentiate between regular stages, elite stages, and boss stages.

In this log, let's delve into the background story of the Xuan Yuan Pass region introduced in this update, as well as the new enemy - one of the legendary Four Spirits: the White Tiger.



Xuan Yuan Pass is a strategic military stronghold located in the eastern part of the desolate swamp continent, where wars have been frequent since the era of the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors.

Fortunately, the eastern part of the continent is guarded by the Azure Dragon, who governs vitality and spirituality, so despite the constant conflicts, the region has remained prosperous.
However, the good times didn't last. Since the Yellow Emperor ascended to immortality, the Azure Dragon guarding this area has disappeared without a trace, replaced by the berserk White Tiger.
The White Tiger is a spirit beast that presides over war and slaughter. Its appearance near Xuan Yuan Pass has intensified the level of conflict to the point where the area is on the brink of collapse.
According to legend, the White Tiger should be guarding the western part of the desolate swamp continent.
Why has it now appeared in the east? Where has the vanished Azure Dragon gone? How can the disaster of war at Xuan Yuan Pass be stopped?
All these questions await exploration by our fellow immortals~

Game Development Log (Issue 12)

Greetings, fellow immortals!

This week, due to the Qingming Festival holiday, we're updating the development log a day earlier than usual~

We're planning to release a Steam version update tomorrow, and the main contents of this update are as follows:

[New Content]
Added the early-stage mission flow for Chapter Two (with storyline details to be added later).
Introduced new characters for Chapter One: "Crafty Shieldbearer" and "Bloodseeker", and for Chapter Two: "Thunder Clan Maiden".
Added some items for equipment forging, serving as supplements to blueprint properties (though the medium feature is not yet implemented).
[Adjustments]
Adjusted the functionality of blueprint properties in equipment forging, now separate from blueprints.
Tweaked the base affix values for different types of equipment in equipment forging, making them more diverse.
Adjusted the display of equipment subtypes, offering greater variety.
Tweaked the base attribute values for characters and enemies, making higher-level monsters more challenging.

In this log, we'll also introduce the new character debuting in this update - Crafty Shieldbearer.



Crafty Shieldbearer hails from the Nameless Island (Chapter One) region and possesses the Earth attribute. Here's his skill set:

Shield Bash (Attack):
Deals % of his own attack power as damage to a single enemy target.
Additionally inflicts % of his own defense power as damage.

Come at Me (Ultimate):
Applies a certain number of "Steadfast" stacks to all allied characters for a duration.
Applies "Taunt" to all enemy characters for a duration.
[Steadfast]: Increases defense based on stack count.

Spiked Tower Shield (Passive):
Whenever attacked:
Deals % of his own defense power as indirect damage to the attacker.

Devious Tactics (Passive):
Whenever dealing indirect damage to enemies:
Applies a certain number of "Random Negative Statuses" to the target.

Game Development Log (Issue 11)

Greetings, fellow immortals!
Time flies, and once again, it's time to update our development log~

Due to the extensive planned adjustments and features that require time for implementation, we won't have updates this week.
However, we plan to introduce the following updates next week:
·Significant adjustments to the equipment forging feature. Equipment properties will no longer be tied to blueprints, and the variety of forgeable equipment will increase.
·Correspondingly, map stages will no longer drop forging blueprints but will be unlocked through side quests.
·Introduction of the feature to influence forging results using medium materials during equipment forging.
·Optimization of Chapter One's storyline and early-stage storyline flow and level configurations for Chapter Two.
·Introduction of new characters corresponding to Chapters One and Two.

In this log, we'll also introduce a new character who will soon make her appearance - the Thunder Clan Maiden.



The Thunder Clan Maiden hails from the “XuanYuanGuan” (Chapter Two) region and is a character with the Metal attribute. Her skill set is as follows:

Flash (Attack):
Deals % of her own attack power as damage to a single enemy character.
Chance for a critical hit: Applies a certain number of "Electrified" stacks.
[Electrified]: Each time it's applied, the affected target receives Gold attribute damage based on the attacker's attack power and the current stack count.

Startling Dance of Splendor (Ultimate):
Immediately performs multiple attacks, with each successive hit dealing reduced damage.

Thunderous Blade Dance (Passive):
Aura effect: All allied characters gain additional damage based on a % of their own attack power.

Phoenix Sword Technique (Passive):
Whenever an attack hits:
There's a chance for an additional attack, but this attack deals reduced damage.

Game Development Log (Issue 10)

Time flies, a week has passed in the blink of an eye, and it’s time to update the development log~

This week’s version updates include the following:
【New content】
·Added new path function in character development.
【Fix problem】
·Fixed the issue where the ambient sound setting data was not read immediately after entering the game.
·Fixed the issue where the equipment worn was not returned when the character was dismissed.
·Attempt to fix the problem that the game is prone to crashing when using a high-speed accelerator.

Changes to equipment forging are still being made and will not be updated this week.
This journal will also introduce the new character that will appear in the future - the blood hunter.



Blood Hunter is a metallic character from the Nameless Island area. Her skill set is as follows:

Penetrating Yang (Attack):
Causes self-attribute damage equal to % of attack power to a single enemy character.
·The hit value of this skill is increased.

Hunting Mark (Trick):
Causes self-attribute damage equal to % of attack power to the single enemy character with the lowest HP, and applies [Mark] to it for a certain period of time.
Then advance your own action bar by 100%.
[Mark]: When enemy characters attack, this target will be given priority.

Reveal Weakness (Passive):
Whenever a wave starts or an enemy character dies:
Apply [Weakness] to the enemy character with the lowest current HP.
·The status effect of applying [Weakness] increases with the skill level.
[Weakness]: Increases the damage received by a certain value.

Flanking (Passive):
Whenever another friendly character attacks:
Based on the target's current lost health, you have a chance to perform additional attacks on the target.
