A long time has passed since we last saw of Rebel_Y, the creator and developer of this charming game we all enjoy daily called Fistful of Frags.
A full year and ten months have passed to be exact, his disappearance has sadden many players out there that love/appericiate his work even if it had some flaws some times.
No game creator is perfect as no human is perfect either so i hope he's doing alright where ever he is and with whatever is working on but the truth is... the game is in dire straits at the moment.
Having said the above it doesn't mean that it's the end of the road for Fistful of Frags, not if the community can have a say in.

Weasel's easy and fast guide to block ANY server you dont want to see in the game
You have to "Run this as Administrator" to have it work as intended.
This in turn will trigger a windows warning cause with no certificate it's considered as an "unrecognized app", at that point you click on the "More info" button and then proceed to click "Run anyway" for this very fast process to take place.
There's absolutely no reason for you to worry about this warning as it has already been tested by many players in closed beta (more than a month) by 'The Saloon' and 'The Salty Spitoon Saloon' group, along with contributors of Fistful of Frags.
This "Community Server List update" is an .exe created to change/swap only one specific file from the game's folder which contains the string with the website that has all the IPies stored for the highlighted servers of the game.
The 'Highlight Server Browser' (henceforth called 'HSB'), the server browser with the "Image tiles".
It has been proven multiple times now that highlighted servers draw in players daily but there are two very unfortunate facts involving server highlighting though.
One... is that only "Rebel_Y" could/can force-update the game (client update on Steam)
Second... updating the Server list was impossible till "Weasel San" from ('Weasel's servers') came up with a breakthrough.
Some words i fully agree with from the main creator of this project "Weasel San".
The Community Servers List update will allow you always to have the latest/updated 'HSB' IP server list everytime you open the game, this in time will return balance to the servers landscape of Fistful of Frags. (as active players install)
It can be installed manually (easy) or even more easily by the ".exe" installer linked above.
This executable is not certified by Microsoft though as that would require a big budget from the team, proper testing on hundreds of different setups and/or machines, both of these options are not available to us at this point.
An update like this plays a huge deal in the survival of this game as it greatly increases the range of results you get from the HSB, extending server highlighting to reach many servers already online globally, thus offering attention to many more servers and a wider range for you to choose from to play on.

This leads us to the final but one of the most important parts of this article.
No one server owner or any person is the "King" of Fistful of Frags, this title is reserved for the creator and main dev of this game (Rebel_Y)... one particular server owner though acts like a King and a tyrant at that.
I'm of course referring to mixxed. xyz and the situation at hand with the "Renewal / Revival /Sundown Ranch / Quickdraw Hustle Showdown" Servers"
mixxed. xyz servers (no matter what name they get branded with) are the same and below you will find some words from the server owner himself...
Admiting that he doesn't care what rules he breaks, wishing death upon me...defend this if you can, i have NO ill will against him let it be known, this is what he chose.

[h3]The banning of 'The Saloon' group and its results[/h3]
'The Saloon' Steam group houses the last remaining active members of the FoF dev team, this hurt the game's development badly (bringing it to a full halt) and the community at large.
It affected significantly the mood/vibe around the game (gave it a bad name in general) and has lead to the dropping of the game's player count effectively even further.
The spikes in activity you will see clearly below is the result of youtubers and streamers efforts to keep Fistful of Frags alive by showcasing it but it's not enough apparently and unfortunately even though it's greatly appreciated by everyone in the community.
This is slowly killing the game as it seperates large portions of active for years players from servers that effectively steal traffic all day long emptying any other servers and making many players feel hopeless and thus, quit or go inactive for long time. (old and new)
[h3]New server owner rules to get highlighted on the 'HSB'[/h3]
The server rules are based on the example Rebel_Y left me with way before he went away.
A state of emergency is declared in order to keep Fistful of Frags alive for all and not just for some cause one server owner likes it that way.
Rebel would've never allowed for a situation like this to take place if he was present and neither will i,
so i ask for your help and your trust, it might be too much all at once but if you want to do something to help this game get back on its feet, this is very easy and it's completely free.
This is not a one time "thing", this 'Community Server List' update will be refreshed every month
(with no need to reinstall it) and if any servers want to join, they will be welcomed and included as long as they keep these 3 simple rules.

- Currently tricking/gaming the "HSB" section of the game via spamming it with 60 servers of his stealing attention from all other servers.
- Banned a whole country (Greece) for his personal issues.
- Banned a whole group (The Saloon) with many inoccents getting caught in the "crossfire" and with no real way to reverse this due to his personal issues.
- Has also placed a script on his server system to auto-ban anyone on my friendlist and even mocked the people that tried to appeal it.

- No mass bans of countries, groups or anything of the sort. (professional and fair)
