[h3]🐾 New Update Is Live! 🐾[/h3]

This is an update many of you have been waiting for and it’s finally here!
Once again, thank you so much for all your suggestions, reports and detailed feedback. It truly helps us a lot and allows us to keep improving the game together ❤️

This update includes fixes and improvements for both the base game and the Little Friends DLC, as well as general performance improvements.

🛠️ Base Game – Patch Notes:

• Fix shop search bar not working correctly.
  
• Fix voting sometimes resulting in weird behavior when one or more players do not vote.
  
• Fix players on interventions teleporting back to shelter when other player went to sleep. Resulting in weird behavior.
  
• Fix alligator toy sometimes falling through floor after finishing game of tag (Mostly seen in multiplayer).
  
• Fix gap in social room lvl 3.
  
• Fix game not starting correctly on some languages.
  
• Fix missing table in lobby lvl 1.
  
• Fix not being able to paint some floors.
  
• Fix some multiplayer connection errors.
  
• Fix some popups not being unlocked when they should've been. Those will be unlocked after you load into the game, provided you've finished tutorial quests on that save file.
  
• Showel and rakes will be available all year long - this fixes not being able to finish snow showeling or leaf raking interventions in some cases.
  
• Fix upgrade main building quest sometimes not finishing, even though player had main building upgraded.
  
• Fix snow pile being in present social room on some saves.
  
• Fix rain puddle sometimes appearing in social room.
  
• Overall game performance boost.
  
• Fix water droplets falling from some cats all the time.
  
• Hopefully fixed player being unable to move rarely after upgrading main building to next levels.
  
• Fix one desk containing some placeholder elements.
  

🐹 Animal Shelter 2 Little Friends DLC - Patch Notes:

• Fix text mentioning dog, even though the adopter came for a rodent.
  
• Fix rodents having contagious diseases - even if the rodent has one (due to older save), it won't spread to the others.
  
• Fix rodents not finding food bowls when on rodent run.
  
• Fix being able to throw pet carrier to trash when rodent was inside.
  
• Cages in cage UI will be labeled, so that player can recognize which cage is which without leaving tablet.

We truly appreciate all the kind words, as well as the many insightful comments, suggestions and reports you’ve been sharing with us. We’re reading everything closely and taking your feedback seriously, it genuinely helps us improve the game 💛

We’d also like to inform you about a known issue some players may encounter:
It appears that the game can have problems when played with Traditional Chinese language settings, while Simplified Chinese works correctly.

Temporary workaround
If you experience any issues, please try switching the game language to Simplified Chinese. This should allow you to play normally until we release a proper fix.

Our team already has a workaround internally, and we’re actively working on a permanent solution, which will be delivered in an upcoming patch. We’ll keep you updated as soon as it’s ready!

Little Friends DLC is releasing in few minutes, 🎉 but this is not the end of good news. We want to improve the game for all the players of Animal Shelter 2, so we are rolling out a huge major update!

Another chapter in the story, another set of improvements, all thanks to your feedback! 🔥

[h3]🐈Let's get to what has arrived:[/h3]

Animal poses during photo mode! You can now assign a pose to your pet while making photo! The pet will hold the pose for 10–15 seconds or until a photo is taken.
Pet dialogue interactions: players can now talk to their pets and tell them a few kinds words. They need to know who is the best boy!
Loading screen tips added to remind players of core and secondary mechanics that are often overlooked or forgotten.
Additional improvements to NPC and pet movement.
Ability to mount heaters on walls.
Improvements to the adoption process (e.g. adopters now arrive with a leash to improve overall flow).
Improved adoption process clarity, including better visual feedback on adoption progress.
Improvements to item placement and storage.
Fixes and improvements to unintended interactions, such as animals or workers accidentally knocking over items and decorations
Additional visual updates to the park and locations during in-game winter and autumn.
AI and pet senses improvements: pets now detect their surroundings more effectively, with clearer feedback to players about what pets notice.
Expanded encyclopedia with diseases, perks, and detailed animal breed information.
Improvements to particle effects (e.g. shampoo).
Introduction of wet wipes for cleaning sphynx cats and small kittens.
