Welcome to the latest update for Wizdom Academy! We’ve been hard at work improving your magical journey with new features, optimizations, and bug fixes to enhance your gameplay experience.



[h2]New features[/h2]

  • Building menu: The construction menu can now be fully closed, allowing for smoother navigation.
  • Environment: Added obstacles and ruins to enhance the customization possibilities of the academy.
  • Construction zone: Building zones are now more clearly defined, making room layouts easier to plan.
  • Camera tracking: The camera now follows characters even when they change floors, keeping the action in view at all times.




[h2]Interface improvements[/h2]

  • Interface animations: Added animations in various menus for a more immersive user experience.
  • Damaged rooms: New animations now play when a room deteriorates, influenced by a student or teacher.
  • Dormer windows: Added dormer windows to constructions, offering more visual variety.




[h2]Soundtrack[/h2]

  • New OST: Added 5 new music tracks, enriching the atmosphere of Wizdom Academy.
  • Startup fix: Fixed an issue where the game would start without music.


[h2]Student management[/h2]

  • Assign students: Students can now be added to or removed from the waiting room for challenges, streamlining participant management.


[h2]Bug fixes[/h2]

  • Ghost corridor bug: Fixed a major issue where certain corridors remained in “ghost” mode, blocking the game.
  • Display issues: Corrected several display bugs, including windows that didn’t close properly.

  • Critical bug fixed: It was impossible to complete the BAM quest due to the addition of a sub-quest
  • Bug with inaccessible rooms fixed
  • The "darker effect" of closed rooms has been corrected
  • Visual bug with flower pots: fixed
  • Visual texture bug in the lounge: fixed
  • Visual texture bug in the alchemy classroom: fixed
  • Collision bug for some indoor decorations: fixed
  • Collision bug for some outdoor decorations: fixed
  • Some roof bugs corrected


[h2]UI improvements[/h2]

  • Alert sounds reduced
  • Gold text in the top left corner is now always white
  • Pause screen made clearer and more noticeable
  • Some UI reworked, such as the quest UI, diploma selection UI, and many others
  • Added alerts for when the council is satisfied or when a new tech tier is unlocked
  • Animation added to the index alert on the left; may be expanded to all alerts if successful


[h2]Visual enhancements[/h2]

  • Mana tree placement highlight is now always blue
  • Roof visibility is now OFF by default
  • Shadows enhanced
  • Smart materials polished


[h2]New additions and adjustments[/h2]

  • Easier snapping for the mana tree placement
  • Better visibility for the mana tree construction area
  • New arrows added to connect rooms

In this update, we’ve focused on improving teacher management, introducing new school policies, and making structural adjustments along with bug fixes to enhance your overall gameplay experience.

[h2]New features and improvements[/h2]

  • Teacher assignment: You can now assign teachers directly to specific rooms. Optimize your courses by strategically placing your professors.
  • New creature: A new mysterious creature, codenamed Petofesse, has been added to the game. Can you discover its abilities and make it a key ally in your academy’s success?





  • New ruins: Explore the newly uncovered ruins on campus. These ancient structures hold hidden secrets, waiting to be unlocked.





  • New school policies: New management options are available to further customize the direction of your academy. Tailor your rules to better meet the needs of your students and staff.
  • UI improvements: We've redesigned several UI elements for a smoother and more intuitive user experience. Everything is now clearer and more accessible!
  • New alerts:
    - Alert when a building is missing assigned teachers.
    - Alert for unlocking a new tech tier.
    - Alert to notify when the school council is satisfied.


[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]

  • Sound bug fixed: We’ve fixed an issue related to sound effects, ensuring better immersion in the game.


[h2]Structural changes[/h2]

  • Building connectivity: Buildings on the second floor and above now require connection to the floors below to be functional. Plan your academy’s expansion wisely!

Now, let's dive into the latest updates, including gameplay improvements, bug fixes, and system upgrades to enhance your experience at Wizdom Academy.

[h2]Gameplay adjustments[/h2]

  • Shorter drought timers: We’ve shortened the time between droughts to intensify the challenge until you complete the "Survive a Drought" quest.
  • Fountain collider fixed: NPCs will no longer get stuck in the fountain. The collider has been adjusted to keep things running smoothly.
  • Professors’ pathfinding fixed: Professors are back in class! We’ve addressed an issue that prevented them from attending, even with stairs and doors available.
  • Improved pathfinding on lower levels: NPCs will now complete their tasks without straying to unintended lower levels.
  • Professor's room access: The pathfinding in the professor's room on the upper floor has been improved for better accessibility.
  • Trial room entrance: We’ve added a new navigable area to make getting into the trial room easier.




[h2]Bug fixes[/h2]

  • UI button errors fixed: Switching between alerts with broken, out-of-memory, or disconnected room buttons no longer causes an "index out of range" error.
  • Smoother prestige progression: The new prestige system is live! Progression is smoother, and no more downgrading.
  • Trial room rewards display: The inspection panel now correctly shows the reward for the current trial.
  • Councillor’s will updates: LP rewards now update correctly based on the councillor's will, even without reopening the recruitment panel.
  • Correct mana tooltip: The "mana in stock" tooltip now accurately displays the remaining cycles for stored mana.
  • Character targeting: Selecting characters from alerts or avatars works correctly—highlighting and selecting them as expected.
  • Building alerts cleared: Destroying buildings now removes related alerts, avoiding null reference errors.
  • Councillor’s will & mana buildings: When mana-storing buildings are destroyed or deactivated, the Councillor’s Will updates properly.
  • Selection highlight fixed: Deselecting characters now properly removes the highlight, cleaning up your UI interactions.
  • Caretaker office renamed: Based on community feedback, the "Caretaker Office" is now the "Caretaker Cottage." Thank you for the suggestion!
  • Quest bug resolved: The quest requiring active buildings on a specific floor has been fixed.
  • Council quest implementation: The unconfigured quest for council members, "have one room of type X," is now active.
  • Graduate NPC pathing: Graduates now use alternate paths instead of heading directly to the mana wellspring.




[h2]User interface enhancements[/h2]

  • Toggle all buildings button: A "Toggle all buildings" button has been added in the academy manager for easier control.
  • Sound effects for council members & floors: We’ve added sound effects when selecting council members and changing floors to enhance the audio feedback.
  • Mana tree sound added: The missing sound for the mana tree building has been added, making it feel even more alive.
  • Unique professor animations: Professors now have distinct animations for each classroom, giving each room a bit more character.
  • Additional sound effects: You’ll hear sound effects when toggling roofs, closing windows, or naming your school.
  • Diploma selection sound: Selecting diplomas during student recruitment now plays a sound, adding a satisfying click to the process.




[h2]System improvements[/h2]

  • Council menu shortcut: Clicking "Regain the council’s trust at all cost" now directly opens the council menu.
  • Mana storage reactivation: Mana storage buildings can now be reactivated even if mana is depleted, as long as the storage isn’t empty.
  • Council member unlocks patched: Obtaining the first, second, and third council members has been patched for smoother progression.
  • Outline system overhaul: We’ve completely redesigned the outline system using a new framework for better visuals.
  • Council wills unlock: Wills for council members now unlock at each new tier.
  • Floating students: Students now float again after being pranked, adding a fun touch to your academy.
  • Pranked professors’ animation: The pranked animation for professors has been revamped.
  • Trees are now hidden where you want to place your building.


[h2]Visual & feedback enhancements[/h2]

  • Groportor animation: Groportor is now animated when you start the game, bringing even more life to the opening moments.
  • Professor room texture fixed: The missing texture in the professor room, caused by shader issues, has been fixed.
  • Enhanced trial effects: New visual effects make the completion of trials by students even more satisfying.
  • Diploma delay: Students now remain for an additional cycle after earning their diploma before leaving the academy.
  • Fewer council alerts: We’ve reduced the number of text alerts from council members (with plans for even further reductions!).

The long-awaited Council overhaul is finally here! This major update revamps the entire councillor system, bringing new mechanics, improved gameplay, and better player control.

  • Unique councillors with unique bonuses: Choose from a variety of councillors, each offering distinct bonuses, personnalities and wills that will shape your strategy.
  • Evolving wills: Each councillor has evolving desires you’ll need to fulfill, adding depth to the management aspect of the game.
  • No more randomness: Councillors' actions are now predictable, giving you full control over their decisions.
  • No more anti-gameplay requests: Councillors will no longer issue requests that harm your progress. Every decision feels purposeful.

  • Significant improvements to the user interface, particularly in managing trials and students.

  • Fixed the bug preventing the construction of certain buildings.
  • Resolved the issue that allowed staircases to be built in hallways.
  • You can now stick stairways to rooms.

  • Improved animations for both trials and classes, making them smoother and more visually engaging.
