1680s fashion - update

Hi everyone,

We’re putting the 1880s pack on hold for now to focus on the 1680s. We're currently working on a project centered around the 1680s, and we want to use our research to create the 1680s pack before the project is finished.

The 1680s pack will highlight more "everyday" outfits and explore the fashion of various societal classes rather than elaborate ballgowns. We hope you are as excited as we are so have some more fashion to explore in Historical Fashion Dress Up!

Hello everyone!

We know it's been a while since our last update, but we have some exciting news. We're currently diving into 1880s fashion! We are hard at work researching and sketching dresses to bring more fashion to Historical Fashion Dress Up.

The 1880s is a fascinating period for fashion, often recognized from westerns. This era features distinctive styles such as tailored fitted jackets and elaborate dresses with bustles!

Changelog:
  • Added two new waistcoat patterns for gentlemen
  • Added a new hat and the ability to choose hat color(!) for gentlemen
  • Added new female facial features inspired by Penelope from Bridgerton
  • Added a new hairstyle for ladies

Known bugs: (We are looking into it)
  • The color menu for gentlemen's hair snaps back to the top when selecting a color
  • Patterned dresses don't always reset correctly

Color Swatch Update! + more

Hi everyone,
Thank you again so much for playing and giving feedback on the game! Based on the comments we have just released a new patch for Historical Fashion Dress Up on both Windows and Mac.

Changelog:
  • Added a new dress preset for the 1820s female pack, including 3 new decorations and a new pattern.
  • Added. Doubled the number of colors across all garments (!)
  • Fixed. The hat menu no longer let’s you change the hair color
  • Fixed. Setting changes properly save
  • Changed. If the game does not detect the Steam Overlay, it saves a screenshot locally. Due to Steamworks API limitations this is the only screenshot option for Mac users, other than using the built-in hotkey.



What to look forward to in our next patch/update:
  • More font options and font sizes
  • More patterns for both ladies and gentlemen (1820s) across garments
