Meet the Beyond the Waves update!


We’re proud to present the Beyond the Waves update featuring captivating storylines, powerful weapons and new challenges that are sure to please even the most seasoned captains.
The update introduces an entirely new team-based PvP mode, Control Points, where players must work together to capture and defend strategically important locations scattered across the waters. For those seeking even greater challenges, the game now features five dangerous zones, each guarded by formidable bosses of varying difficulty levels. Additionally, exciting stories await you in a new quest line. Your team will also gain a new crew member.

In this episode, we invite you to face off against a world boss lurking beyond the sector's edge. This unique new enemy will test your combat skills and strategies, delivering an epic battle unlike anything you've seen before in Age of Water.
To help you deal with the enemies more effectively, you can unlock a sixth tier of weapons with devastating firepower, including rocket launchers!

The world of Age of Water has become even more diverse with the addition of ten new land-based combat areas. Your crew will engage in intense close-quarters combat, while you'll need to adapt to new conditions and employ previously unseen tactics.

  • Fixed a bug where loot from large fish could be missing.
  • Modules in the preview are no longer painted.
  • Fixed a bug causing prolonged freezes on PlayStation 5.
  • Fixed bugs in displaying the player blacklist on Xbox.
  • Fixed bugs that caused voice chat to disconnect.
  • Fixed logical errors that led to progress blockage in quests "Recruitment", "A Geographical Hypothesis" and "Murderous Balloon".
  • Fixed a bug where a quest object could appear inside the "Three Whales" location.
  • Fixed a bug where no corks were awarded in the quest "Under Pressure".
  • Fixed a bug where opponents without segments and large modules received too little damage from explosions.
  • Fixed an issue with the disappearance of some modules installed on the "Merchant" cabin.
  • Fixed a bug where a building could be available for construction at the base only after some time.
  • Fixed a bug where the scanner might not react to mining zones.
  • Fixed a bug where shooting sounds would disappear when firing from different weapons simultaneously.
  • Fixed a bug allowing teleportation inside textures in the "Aircraft Carrier" location.
  • Fixed a sorting issue when first opening the inventory with the "On Deck First" option selected.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented exiting the main menu of the game.
  • Fixed bugs in displaying some character names in dialogues.
  • Corrected mixed-up names for metal and wooden signboards.
  • Fixed the ship window at a resolution of 5760x1080.
  • Multiple technical fixes and optimizations.
  • Corrections to bugs in dialogues and texts.


Soon after the Beyond the Waves launches, we will conclude the Early Access phase and officially release the final version of Age of Water.

Different colors for loot markers


We have prepared update 1.0.34.3457 for you:
  • Loot is now marked with a different color if it was dropped from an enemy ship.
  • The behavior of the stern in turns has been improved for hulls of ranks 3-5.
  • Decorations and the "Looter Drone" base now repair automatically along with other modules.
  • Hull parameter comparison is now available in the first boarding window.
  • The sonar automatically turns off when entering the base.
  • Pressing Ctrl+Z in the constructor now works correctly and no longer resets connections.
  • Fixed a bug that caused notifications about insufficient resources for repairing the hull to appear too frequently.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed modules to be installed on a ship beyond the module limit.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause the Powerbank to be consumed again.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause the game to freeze on the sinking screen.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause the game to not respond to the Exit button press.
  • Fixed a bug where the load in the inventory interface might not match the actual load.
  • Fixed a bug in the authorization system that sometimes created a second player profile.
  • Fixed a logical error in the quests "Producing Boosted Motors" and "Monkee, Go Home!".
  • Improved AI behavior logic in the Silver Fleet caravan.
  • Improved the save system.
  • Corrected some texts.

An update that is bigger than usual


We have prepared big update 1.0.33.3408 for you:
Improved stability of all ranks 3-5 hulls.
Increased engine power for some of the high-ranked hulls.
Player boats' behavior upon collision now appears smoother.
The balance of all funnels and air intakes has been changed starting from rank 2. Funnels are now a comparably effective alternative.
Fixed a bug that caused the boat to disappear when assembling from a blueprint during a poor connection.
It is no longer necessary to hold the "E" key to pick up pontoons and stunned sharks.
Added a re-connection algorithm for text and voice chats.
Fixed a bug in the durability parameter of the "Iron Warrior's Funnel."
Corrected the display of hull speed when comparing hull characteristics in the boarding window.
Improved ship behavior when docking; ships now get stuck in objects less often.
The ship window now indicates low energy output values.
Fixed issues when continuing crafting after re-entering the game.
To enhance understanding of progress in the game, more quests are now marked as main and storyline quests.
The "Lost Cargo Delivery" quest is no longer given if the chest with lost cargo has not dropped.
Fixed logical errors in the "Sharkees' adolescence" quest.
Added a missing marker in the "A Shipwright for the Base" quest.
Added hints in the "The turning point" quest.
Giant whirlpools now do not appear too close to each other.
The skill crafting window now displays correctly when too many skills have been learned.
Fixed a bug where the allied ship marker would not show after re-entering the game.
Fixed a bug that prevented group entry into an instance from working properly.
Fixed a bug that prevented talking to the character Shaya at the base.
Improved smoke effect from falling hang gliders.
Changed the healing effect of the enemy’s repair module.
Fixed low-quality texture for treasure icons on the sonar.
Minor improvements to AI behavior.
In the change log at game startup, major updates will now be displayed separately.
Text corrections in various localizations.
For controller management:
Improved navigation in the technology menu at the base.
Adapted hints for slots in item previews.
In the base shop, "+" and "-" for the quantity of purchased items are now correctly highlighted.
