【Announcement】 Temporary solution for download stuck at 99%
We have received feedback from some players that they may encounter progress stuck at 99% when downloading the game. After initial troubleshooting, this may be due to a network node issue with the Steam client, not the game itself (our local testing was unable to reproduce the bug, and we have also contacted Steam customer service to assist in the investigation, but have not yet received a response).
You can try the following methods to temporarily solve the problem:
1、Switch the download region
Open Steam → Settings → Download → Download Region → Change to another region (e.g. “East Africa”, etc.) → Restart Steam to continue downloading.
After the download is complete, you can always change back to the original region.
2、Reinstall Steam client
If the above method is ineffective, you can try to uninstall and reinstall the Steam client (please be sure to manually back up the game files before operation, some games may not have the cloud archive function).
(All three of us have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, as well as changing zones and reinstalling ...... but it still can't be reproduced. In the end, it was the group teacher who reinstalled the steam client once and solved the problem ......)
