Update 1.8.2 – Performance Optimization & Bug Fixes
[p]Hello Contractors![/p][p]The 1.8.2 update is now live for ContractVille. In this patch, we are excited to present the first wave of our ongoing performance improvement efforts. - [p]Performance optimization adjustments have been made to both mission houses and standard houses throughout the world.[/p]
- [p]Unused mission houses in the world have been reworked and reorganized.[/p]
- [p]Streetlights across the world have been completely overhauled to operate much more efficiently.[/p]
- [p]Environment designs that caused performance drops—especially in the City area and across the game in general—have been completely overhauled. They now run much more efficiently and consistently.[/p]
- [p]Alongside these optimizations, we have also implemented general visual improvements to the environment.[/p]
- [p]Performance-oriented adjustments have been made to the UI textures.[/p]
- [p]Fixed a bug that caused "Go Green" mission requirements to incorrectly appear in furniture stores within the Mission Needs menu.[/p]
- [p]Resolved an issue where mission icons were missing on certain furniture items in the Mission Needs list.[/p]
- [p]Fixed a UI issue that was causing text to overflow from the Mission Needs widget.[/p]
- [p]Clients joining a game session for the first time will now automatically start with the CEO role. (As always, you can still freely adjust and assign roles however you wish!)[/p]
- [p]Contractors, we are constantly pushing to give you the smoothest experience possible. We want to give you a quick heads-up that we will be releasing another performance update soon, specifically focused on optimizing DirectX 12 utilization. Keep an eye out for it![/p]
