House Planner Challenge is Live!

[h3]Hello, dear contractors![/h3]
For those players who find the planner complicated or boring, or who make mistakes in using it, we have decided to add a few “Default” presets to the planner. This will make it easier, especially for our younger players. We realized that this is not the most enjoyable part of the game for everyone, and we want to please these players, even if they are few in number. Going forward, we will continue to work on more innovations in building.
However, in line with our roadmap, we plan to release version 1.0 of the game in the first quarter of 2025. As we are in the final months of early access, I would like to remind you once again how valuable reviews are to us.
All of your thoughts are valuable to us. If you haven't already, I invite you to write a review for our game.
Rest assured that we read and consider everything you write. All your complaints and suggestions are noted.

House Planner Challenge!

We’re thrilled to announce a brand-new event: the House Planner Challenge!
You can see the posts about this event by joining our Discord server on #events and #planner-event channels.
This is your chance to bring your creativity to life and make an impact on the game for everyone to enjoy!
In this event, you’ll have the opportunity to submit your very own house plan design! We are very excited to see your creativity come alive! And now the most exciting part: The winning designs will be added directly to the base game with the name of the creator listed with it, making it available for all players to use! We would like to point out that you are welcome to submit more than one design!

[h3]How to Participate: [/h3]
First of all, you need to join our Discord server.
  1. Create an house plan for the game (make it functional, think of the basics; a living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom). You can decide yourself or you would rather make an house plan ''small, medium or large''
  2. Make an screenshot of the planner. And locate your planner savefile to submit it.
    See below where to find your planner files!
  3. Post the screenshot and the planner file in the therefore made channel (With a description if you would like)

[h3]Where can I find my in-game planner files to send them?[/h3]
To find your save files, you can copy this:
%UserProfile%\AppData\Local\ContractVille\Saved\SaveGames
Then paste it in the file explorer.
Press enter and the folder with your save files should be opened.
It should probably be called: Default_planningsavegame_c.sav



You can send us as many plans as you wish. Until November 13th, we will evaluate the designs.
The ContractVille team will decide on the selected ones, but we will also be monitoring the interaction and reaction your submission receives.

Big Update: Taxi & Cargo (0.3 Release)

Hello contractors!
We are happy to announce the 2nd major update on our roadmap, the Taxi & Cargo update.

With this update, we're bringing you the teleportation/transportation feature you've been asking for. You will now be able to call taxis and transport customers as a taxi driver with your vehicles. With the Cargo update, you will be able to transport cargo and discover another way to earn money.

After this update, we aim to expand and detail the Taxi and Cargo update shortly.
I would like you to know that we do not ignore your requests as we proceed in accordance with our roadmap in our early access process. For this reason, in this update, we tried to include your suggestions such as teleportation, transportation, as well as your suggestions in the field of building.

At this point, I would like to remind you how important reviews are for us. Don't forget to leave your comments about our game on our store page! Your suggestions and warnings are very valuable to us.

In the coming period, we will be working on many innovations such as Controller Support, Garden Update, Demolish Rubble and new furniture in line with our roadmap.

[h2]Calling a Taxi[/h2]
[h3]Choose Your Destination, and Let the Trip Begin![/h3]
Using the Taxi App, you will be able to call a taxi from the “Call a Taxi” menu by selecting the location you want to go to on the map.
When you call a taxi, it will pick you up in a few seconds and take you to your destination in a few seconds.



[h2]Becoming a Taxi Driver[/h2]

Now you can be a taxi driver with your car! You can search for a customer from the “Search Customer” menu using the Taxi App. Passengers around you will appear on the map and you will be able to choose which customers to accept based on distance and fare.

[h2]New Vehicle: E-Car-Go[/h2]
[h3]Efficient Deliveries, Electrified: E-Car-Go, Built for the Fast Lane of Logistics![/h3]
E-Car-Go, which we brought specially for the Cargo update, is very functional for your cargo missions. This vehicle has a load capacity of 48 and is charged electrically. It has 3 tiers with 8 separate shelves and allows you to sort and organize your cargo boxes.



[h2]Cargo App[/h2]
[h3]Expand Your Delivery Empire![/h3]
Using the Cargo App, you can access cargo missions. You can start 4 cargo missions at the same time. This way you can work together with your friends.
For the Cargo update, we added 2 different areas to the game where you can pick up special cargoes: the airport and the port. You can see new warehouses in these areas.
Pick up the cargo and take it to the delivery points you can see on the map, according to the addresses and numbers indicated on the boxes.



[h2]Fragile Boxes[/h2]
[h3]Pick Up Special Loads, and Deliver with Precision![/h3]
Some boxes are fragile in cargo missions. These boxes will be damaged if you crash or if you throw them out of your hand and they fall to the ground. Fragile boxes earn more money than normal boxes. Each box has a Delivery Quality and your earnings will increase or decrease accordingly.

[h2]Mission Needs Updated[/h2]
More useful interface!
We realized that there was a need for an improvement in the Mission Needs tab and made it easier to use. We provided the ability to select and view the object that needs a mission.
Now when you click on the button in the Mission Needs tab, the items you need will be listed in front of you.



[h2]Ceiling Painting Feature[/h2]
Colorful ceilings!
It is now possible to paint ceilings. Expand your design by painting your ceilings in different colors!



[h2]Trolley Improvements[/h2]
We're always here to hear from our players and gather your thoughts! We understand that using the trolley has been a bit tricky.
  • The trolley capacity has been increased from 3 to 6!
  • With the trolley in your hand, just use the left mouse button to pick up boxes and the right mouse button to drop them.


[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]
Minor bug fixes in a major update...
  • Fixed animation bugs in Trolley.
  • Trolley can now enter houses and climb stairs.
  • Fixed many visual bugs.
  • Fixed a bug where “Rescuing” the Trailer would teleport the player to the garage instead of the Trailer.
  • Car suspensions have been revised.
  • Client was unable to jump and enter the Nexus Hatch vehicle while the Server was away. Fixed.

ContractVille Update 0.2.3

[h3]Greetings, dear contractors,[/h3]
In preparation for the Taxi and Cargo update, we've fixed a few more bugs in the game with this update. You should know that we're working hard every day to improve your gaming experience, and thank you again for your patience.
Our next big update, Taxi and Cargo, will be coming in the course of this month. We will publish an announcement about this in the coming days.


[h2]Improvements[/h2]
  • Players can now easily enter the Nexus Hatch Truck. You can pick up the boxes at ease!
  • The sleep time has been adjusted. Wake-up time has been updated to 06.35.
  • In logistics missions, tasks can now be completed by interacting with NPCs at both the pickup and delivery locations.
  • After upgrading to level 2 in the office building, furniture that appears on the balcony can now be packed and removed.
  • Nights are now brighter! Overhaul on lighting
  • ContractVille T-shirts and hats have been added. We have a surprise coming soon...



[h2]EULA and Privacy Policy[/h2]
  • Added an EULA (End User License Agreement) and Privacy Policy.

The reason we include it is to see your preferences in the game, to see what you like the most and to improve it. We also want to get stats on them so we can use them in future updates.
For legal reasons, we need your permission for this.
If you reject the privacy policy, we will not retain your data.

[h3]Visual & UI[/h3]
  • Fixed an issue where clothes were not visible in the dressing room.
  • Corrected a problem in the "Go Green" missions where task descriptions wouldn't disappear upon completion or continuation.
  • Radiators were snapping below the floor when placed under a window. This has been fixed.
  • The discount label in German language stores was misaligned. This has been corrected.
  • Fixed a problem where boxes displayed duplicate names when hovered over.
  • Amid's "easy" contract mission was missing detailed objectives. All objectives are now visible.
[h3]Gameplay[/h3]
  • Fixed an issue where homes on land properties would disappear.
  • In co-op mode, trash boxes were not spawning when the server was in a vehicle. This has been resolved.
  • Fixed a texture issue in the Granite Tile Pack where the appearance didn't match the package image.
  • Merchant eyes skill was not giving the full price at level 3. Fixed.
  • When the diesel gas canister was installed and removed from the generator in the office, it turned to unleaded. Fixed.
[h3]Exploits Fixed[/h3]
  • An exploit that allowed players to obtain multiple coupons in the Factory by rapidly pressing the E key has been fixed.
  • Fixed an issue where different exterior claddings could be stacked.
  • In all vehicles, fuel refilling would continue even if fuel was added and immediately removed. This has been corrected.
  • Fixed a bug where the mixer could take more than its capacity.
[h3]Co-op Issues[/h3]
  • Fixed a crash when sending the vehicle to the garage when the client trailer is attached to the vehicle.
  • When the client sent the car to the garage, it did not appear on the server. If the server also sent a car to the garage, two cars were overlapping. This is fixed.
  • Client could not repaint when motion sickness setting was on on the server in built houses. Fixed.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the Gas canister to appear empty in Co-op.
[h3]Construction Issues[/h3]
  • Parcel replanning was deleting doors and windows.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the color and appearance of built houses to change.



ContractVille Update 0.2.2

This update focuses on improving overall bug fixes and gameplay improvements to improve the user experience. Thank you for reporting bugs and for your support.

[h2]Gameplay Improvements[/h2]
  • NPC Interaction: NPC cars now play horn sounds when hit, enhancing realism and responsiveness in the game.
  • Go Green Milestones: Added necessary Go Green XP indicators to milestone elements for clearer progression tracking.
  • New Access Point: A back door has been added to the Hardware Store in Port Town.
  • Edible Demolition: Food and beverages can now be demolished.
  • Trailer Manual Attachment: Players can now move trailers by hands, providing more control over vehicle management.


[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]
  1. Sound and Character Corrections:

    • Fixed an issue where the sound wheel would play male sounds for female characters.
    • Addressed bugs related to the replaying of Go Green dialogues. (Public Awareness Campaign)
    • Fixed an issue where, in specific scenarios, characters would be teleported to an incorrect location when exiting a vehicle.
    • Resolved a bug where NPC vehicles would not play horn sounds upon collision.
  2. Server and Client Synchronization:

    • Resolved an issue where the client-placed alternator was not represented on the server, ensuring proper synchronization.
  3. Environment and Object Interaction:

    • Fixed a problem where characters would be displaced when exiting vehicles under specific scenarios.
    • Corrected trolley physics and behavior when interacting with items.
  4. Map and Object Placement:

    • Fixed an issue where the center item on a full trolley would not move down when removed.
    • Rectified a problem in construction missions where placed floor materials would have incorrect rotation, causing misalignment.
    • Resolved an issue with items dropping beneath the landscape when packaging objects on top of others.
    • Fixed issues with Go Green objectives where map markers wouldn’t show upon repeating tasks.
  5. User Interface and Visuals:
    • Adjusted the vehicle dashboard panels for a clearer and more accurate display.
    • Ensured proper visibility of items and structures after mission completion and game reload.
    • When the construction task was finished, the appearance of the windows and doors we installed was changing. Now they don't change.
    • Corrected a bug that prevented photo mode from closing when saving during a vandal mission. (Justice for Nature)


[h3]Stutter Fix[/h3]
  • Fixed stuttering when entering and exiting houses.

[h3]Known Issues[/h3]
  • Some pre-existing save files may still have minor visual discrepancies when loading into new updates. Players are encouraged to report any anomalies to the support team for further investigation.
