You'll find yourself exploring a completely new landscape to give you a fresh challenge in your survival.   • Set UI sprite atlas to ignore texture limit - fixed UI becoming blurry when texture resolution is lowered
  • Disabled mipmaps on UI backgrounds - less VRAM use
  • Added news and updates panel

⚓ Demo Patch Log #Version-0.8.7

A new demo update is live! This week’s patch is a smaller one focused on quality-of-life improvements and fixes. As always, your feedback is incredibly helpful — let us know if you run into anything unexpected!

  • Improve Search bar - show border when it's active and search in all categories, no matter which one was opened before starting search
  • Producers don't necessarily require all resources - fixed Lab workers not working while there are at least some resources available
  • Don't autoshow events that have already been opened. Fixed events popping up on save loads or on build mode undo exits
  • Collapsing buildings no longer error out selected building gizmo drawers
  • Clean up gatherable logic and fixed rare out of bounds error
  • Fixed several errors due to Scenario not being set immediately when loading game
  • Fixed error by clearing boat tasks if its workplace was removed from the game
  • Fixed Gatherable errors if they had collapsed during marking

Our new build is live! Only a small patch this week with some QoL improvements and bug fixes.
Check it out and let us know what you think/any issues you may encounter:

  • Correctly update moss on buildings that have been moved.
  • Fix boats docking in the wrong direction.
  • Improve the performance of many different object initializations. This reduces saved or new game loading time and improves the performance of updating city data when buildings are added or removed.
  • Always draw collapsing object indicators when in build mode.
  • Optimize Crane/Catcher building highlighting and highlight buildings that will be gathered from.
  • Move lots of update code away from common production components to specialized ones - greatly improves game tick performance when there are a lot of buildings that aren't Cranes.
  • Auto collect fuel and metal Gatherables.
