KRONE Agriculture Equipment DLC Release

[p]We’re thrilled to release the KRONE Agriculture Equipment DLC for both Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator! This latest addition expands your job roster with a powerful line-up of officially licensed, KRONE-branded farming machinery.

KRONE is a global leader in high-performance agricultural equipment. From mowers and balers to forage harvesters and wagons, their machines form the backbone of modern farming. But productivity doesn’t stop in the fields, these machines rely on truckers to deliver them where they’re needed, making drivers an essential link in the agricultural sector.

Pinktober 2025

[p]Every year, October brings communities together worldwide to stand in solidarity and raise awareness in the battle against breast cancer. Pinktober, marked by the iconic pink ribbon, stands as a reminder of unity, strength, and the importance of knowledge. This campaign also serves as a crucial call for all of us to take better care of ourselves and to spread awareness among everyone.[/p][p][/p][p]Recognizing the signs and being proactive about health can make all the difference. Regular self-checks, staying informed, and scheduling professional screenings are some of the most effective steps we can take in protecting ourselves against breast cancer. Sharing these habits and encouraging others to follow them helps strengthen our communities and brings us closer to a healthier future together.[/p][p]Supporting Through Driving[/p][p]Since 2019, we at SCS Software have proudly stood with our community to support this important cause. Each year, through the sales of our special Pink Ribbon Charity Pack DLCs for American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2, we’ve worked together to make a tangible difference.[/p][p]Just as in previous years, 100% of the income from these DLCs will be collected and donated to the Alliance of Women with Breast Cancer, our chosen charity partner, at the end of October. Thanks to your incredible support in past Pinktober events, we’ve been able to contribute directly to their mission of helping and empowering those impacted by breast cancer.[/p][p]If you haven’t yet added these DLCs to your collection, or if you’d like to surprise a friend with a thoughtful gift, now is the perfect time. Not only will you be adding some meaningful flair to your trucks with the vibrant Pink Ribbon designs, but you’ll also be directly supporting a great cause.[/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink]More Than Just Awareness[/p][p]While customizing your trucks and spreading the word is a wonderful way to show solidarity, we also encourage you to focus on the most important aspect of Pinktober: your health.[/p]
  • [p]Take the time to perform regular self-checks.[/p]
  • [p]Stay informed about potential symptoms and risk factors.[/p]
  • [p]Visit your doctor for regular screenings and professional advice.[/p]
[p]These small but vital actions can make a big difference in prevention and early detection, and they are the best tools we have in fighting breast cancer effectively.[/p][p]Share and Inspire [/p][p]We’d love to see your support on the road! Decorate your trucks with the Pink Ribbon designs and share your screenshots on social media using the hashtag #Pinktober2025. By doing so, you’ll not only spread awareness but also inspire others to join the cause and contribute in their own way.[/p][p]We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to every player who has supported Pinktober in past years. Your generosity and participation help save lives, raise awareness, and support those directly affected by breast cancer. Together, let’s make Pinktober 2025 another month of unity, awareness, and hope.[/p][p]Drive safe, stay healthy, and thank you for being part of this journey with us.[/p]

Louisiana: Custom Made Depots

[p]In today's blog, we're heading back to the Pelican State! This time, we would like to give you a closer look at some of the custom depots where you'll be picking up and delivering cargo to in the upcoming Louisiana DLC for American Truck Simulator.[/p][p][/p][p]Unlike standard prefabs, these depots have been carefully assembled by our map designers using a variety of assets, giving each one a distinct look and feel. Many also draw subtle inspiration from real-world locations. Today, we'll be showing five of them: three farms and two timber harvest depots. [/p][p][/p][p]Agriculture once formed the backbone of Louisiana's economy, but over time, its role has shifted. Even though it remains quite important today, only a small share of residents make their living from farming, with most of the production concentrated in a relatively small number of large farms along the Mississippi River. These farms produce a wide range of goods, including cotton, rice, soybeans, feed grains, poultry, eggs, and beef.[/p][p][/p][p]In the Pelican State, you'll come across custom-made farms near the city of Natchitoches, the Oberlin settlement, and the Oak Alley Plantation. While Oak Alley is now primarily a historic site and museum, we felt its beauty made it a fitting addition as a delivery location in the map expansion. [/p][p][/p][p]The timber industry began to rise in the late 1800s and remained a key part of Louisiana's economy well into the 21st century. Today, tree farming has become the state's most valuable agricultural activity. Louisiana now ranks among the nation's leading timber producers, with the vast majority of its forests consisting of softwoods, primarily pines. You can find one of the custom-made timber harvest depots near the US-156, while the other one is located near the town of DeRidder, close to the Texas border. [/p][p][/p][p]We hope we have got you a little more excited to haul cargo in Louisiana! If we did, make sure to add the Pelican State to your Steam Wishlist. Don't miss out on all the latest news from our upcoming DLCs and projects by following us on our official social media channels (X/TwitterInstagramFacebookBluesky, and TikTok) or by subscribing to our newsletter. Until next time, happy haulin'![/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p]

Louisiana: Shreveport

[p]As we continue our journey across the upcoming Louisiana DLC for American Truck Simulator, today we’re taking a closer look at one of the largest cities in the state, Shreveport. Located in the northwest corner of Louisiana, this bustling city offers a fascinating mix of culture, history, and industry. We’re excited to bring it to life for our players![/p][p][/p][p]Shreveport owes much of its identity to its location along the Red River. Truckers entering the city will cross a number of key bridges, including one of the most recognizable rail bridges in the region. With the river flowing through its heart, Shreveport is both a scenic and practical hub for commerce and transportation.[/p][p][/p][p]You will be able to spot several of Shreveport’s most iconic landmarks as you pass through. The city’s skyline is dotted with tall hotels and resorts that overlook the riverfront, adding a distinctive look to the horizon. In the downtown area, you’ll find civic and cultural highlights, such as a large convention center, a prominent courthouse, and a well-known financial institution.[/p][p][/p][p]For those looking for entertainment, Shreveport is home to several riverboat-style resorts and casinos, each with its own unique architecture and colorful night lighting. Meanwhile, families and visitors often gather at the city’s popular science center, which features an unmistakable dome-shaped planetarium.[/p][p][/p][p]Shreveport is also no stranger to major sporting events and concerts. Truckers driving past the southern part of the city may notice the football stadium, famous for hosting big games and annual events, as well as a nearby multi-purpose coliseum that serves as the home of the local hockey team.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Of course, a city like Shreveport is more than just its landmarks. In American Truck Simulator, players will find a variety of depots scattered throughout the area, along with a garage for those looking to expand their trucking operations in Louisiana.[/p][p][/p][p]We can’t wait for you to experience Shreveport for yourself in our upcoming Louisiana DLC. Until then, keep an eye out for more blog posts as we continue to explore the cities, industries, and road networks that await you in the Pelican State.[/p][p]In the meantime, don’t forget to add the DLC to your Steam Wishlist and follow us on X/TwitterInstagramFacebookBluesky, and TikTok, or subscribe to our newsletter for more behind-the-scenes content, teasers, and announcements.[/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p]

SCS On The Road: Our Trip To Ford

[p]Today, we're excited to release a new episode in our SCS On The Road series! This time, we're taking you with us to the World Headquarters of the Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan, USA, where we had the chance to see and work with a variety of vehicles from Ford's legendary line-up for our upcoming Road Trip module in American Truck Simulator.
[/p][p]
First and foremost, we'd like to thank Ford and everyone who joined us on the day for giving us access to a wide array of vehicles, old, new, and special; and for their warm hospitality during what was a cold but very productive visit.

Join Nemiro, Oscar, Mark, Matej, and Ondřej as they capture reference photos, videos, and sound recordings of a variety of Ford vehicles. They also had the chance to meet and chat with Matthew Korczyk, Vehicle Coordinator at Ford Performance Parts, and Matt Leaver, Product Development Specialist at Ford Motor Company, who kindly lent us his own Ford Bronco to capture reference media for our upcoming Road Trip module. You can check out the full episode below!
