Skyfire Unveiled at WePlay 2025!

[p]We just opened up our booth at WePlay Expo 2025 in Shanghai, China, where our newest contestant is playable on the show floor. While the event itself is just getting started, we couldn’t wait to share an early look at Skyfire and his abilities with you here, as well. Below, we’ve also included a fresh look at Last Flag’s keyart featuring the full contestant lineup, and details about our next public demo coming up on Thursday, December 4.[/p][h2]Skyfire Takes the Stage[/h2][p][/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p]Last Flag is the hottest game show on the planet, but a new contestant is poised to crank up the heat even further. Armed with a custom-built flamethrower, a fully-fueled jetpack, and a knack for showmanship, Skyfire is sure to set audiences ablaze* and soar into the spotlight during his debut episode. Here’s a preview of the firepower he’ll bring to the team whenever he’s on the hunt for the flag.[/p][p]Main Weapon: Flamethrower[/p]

[p]A close-range weapon, the flamethrower increases the damage it does as its heat builds up before it eventually needs to be vented.[/p]

[p]Alternate Fire: Molten Chunk[/p]

[p]Lob a chunk of lava that splashes into a pool of fire on impact. Increases the heat level of the flamethrower.[/p]

[p]Passive Ability: Jetpack[/p]

[p]Holding jump while airborne activates your jetpack, lifting you into the air in free flight.[/p]

[p]Primary Ability: Chain Anchor[/p]

[p]Place a disco ball that leashes enemies with a chain, slowing them down and stopping them from leaving the area.[/p]

[p]Secondary Ability: Flame Launch[/p]

[p]Launch yourself high into the air, leaving a pool of fire on the ground.[/p]

[p]Ultimate Ability: Redeemer Joyride[/p]

[p]Turn your jetpack into a missile as you ride it towards the target and leap off at the last moment before it explodes.[/p]

[p]* Figuratively, of course. Rest assured, Last Flag’s studio audience members enjoy the show from the relative safety** of deluxe stadium seating.[/p][p]** All studio audience members are required to review and sign a waiver prior to attending Last Flag filming in person.[/p][h2]Fresh Faces, Refreshed Keyart[/h2][p]Now that Skyfire is ready to sail into Last Flag, we’ve updated our keyart to feature the entire cast so far. In addition to the new arrival, you may notice that two of our contestants are sporting fresh new looks. Camila and Soo-Jin had a visit with the production crew to update their wardrobes and hairstyles before their next on-stage appearances.[/p][p][/p][h2]Dive Into the Demo on December 4[/h2][p]Whether you’re already part of our playtest crew, or you’ve been waiting to test drive Last Flag for the first time, we’re excited to share that we’ve got a new public demo lined up for you on Steam from December 4 - 7! Team up with a friend (or four), lock in your contestant of choice, and give it your all in the quest to swipe the enemy flag, because servers will be up and running all weekend long. [p]As with our previous demo, we’re lifting our Non-Disclosure Agreement as soon as the demo begins, which means you can discuss the game with others, post screenshots, and record or stream gameplay to your heart’s content.[/p][p]Need a warmup before diving in? You got it. The demo will feature our new training gym where you can try out as many contestants as you’d like in the new firing range and ability range before jumping into a match against other players.
