Happy Holidays from Night Street Games!

[p]2025 is coming to a close and we’re getting ready for a brief break to spend the holidays with our loved ones and rest up ahead of diving into a busy but exciting January. Before we do, we’d like to take a quick look back at what an eventful year it has been for Last Flag, and to say a huge thank you to everyone in the community. [/p]
An Action-Packed Year
[p]Following Last Flag’s reveal at Summer Game Fest in June, we’ve been excited to watch our small Friends-and-Family playtest group transform into a growing community of flag hunters from around the world as more and more of you have requested playtest invites. We’ve even been lucky enough to meet some of you in person as we brought Last Flag to events like Gamescom, Brasil Game Show, and WePlay Expo. Over the past six months, you’ve helped us stress test our tech, discovered and reported bugs, become a crucial sounding board for new features and changes we’ve implemented, and we couldn’t be more grateful to have you all with us.[/p][p]Since those initial playtests last winter, we’ve released six major updates, brought Knives, Roadie, and Skyfire into the fray, and introduced our second map, called Log Jam. We added Quickmatch, social features, menu overhauls, and support for 17 different languages. Not to mention a broad array of art, animation, environment, UI, sound, combat, gameplay, and performance improvements, as well.  [/p]
Community Feedback, Major Impact
[p]Through it all, the feedback you’ve shared with us has had a real impact on the game. Here are just a few of the ways the community has helped to shape Last Flag in 2025:[/p]
• [p]The addition of the Training Gym where players can tinker with contestants outside of matches against real players.[/p]
• [p]Infinite stamina while out of combat.[/p]
• [p]Passive health regeneration while out of combat.[/p]
• [p]The ability for teams to earn up to 50% more time to retake their flag from the enemy pyramid.[/p]
• [p]A max of 2 duplicate contestants per team, down from 5 (and we’re currently trying out a max of 1 per team internally.)[/p]
• [p]Quick melee attacks for all ranged contestants.[/p]
• [p]Increased default Field of View for all contestants.[/p]
• [p]Ambient music and sounds throughout each match.[/p]
• [p]Improved hit markers, hit sounds, and footstep audio.[/p]
• [p]Additional settings for more flexibility to adjust sliding, crouching, and aim sensitivity.[/p]
• [p]Numerous tuning adjustments across all our contestants.[/p]
• [p]And much more![/p]
[p]The thoughts you share during and after playtests help us make Last Flag an even better game with every update, and we love to hear from you. Please keep it coming as we roll into 2026.[/p]
Holiday Cheer for Your Desktop
[p]Before we go, we wanted to spread a little Last Flag-style seasonal cheer. Peter’s ho-ho-ho-ping you have a wonderful holiday season in this festive wallpaper that our art team put together just for you![/p][p][/p][p]We are so grateful for the feedback, bug reports, survey responses, wishlists, playtesting time, fanart, cosplays, and everything else you’ve shared as we work to bring Last Flag to life. Thank you for coming with us on this journey; we couldn’t do it without you.[/p][p]Until next year, thank you and happy holidays from everyone here at Night Street Games.[/p]
