We just kicked off a limited-time demo that’s open to all from October 17 - 18, and you can dive in right now.[/p][p]This is the second time we’ve opened up the game to share an early look at what we’ve been working on. We recently released a new patch with lots of improvements, including Roadie, our brand new contestant. Whether you played the previous demo or are trying the game for the first time, there’s something new for everyone.[/p][h2]When to Play[/h2]

[p]Hit that “Install Demo” button, and then join us in the quickmatch queue to join the fray.[/p][h3]What About Streaming?[/h3][p]While the demo is live over the next 36 hours, we’re temporarily lifting our Non-Disclosure Agreement. That means you can livestream, record and post your gameplay, and discuss your Last Flag matches from now until the demo concludes.[/p][h3]Watch Last Flag Gameplay on Twitch[/h3][p]Speaking of streaming, you’ll also be able to catch live Last Flag gameplay on Twitch, because we’ve got a number of awesome broadcasters lined up to go flag hunting. [/p][p][/p][h2]Bring the Noise with Roadie (and more!)[/h2][p]With his arm-mounted grenade launcher at the ready, Roadie recently made his debut as the newest contestant to join the cast of Last Flag. Now you can be among the first to give him a spin and share your feedback with us in our Discord server.[/p][p]If you tried Last Flag during Steam’s Third-Person Shooter Fest, we’ve been hard at work making improvements based on feedback we received from demo players and our closed playtest group. Here are just a few of the changes we’ve made since then:[/p]

• [p]Bonus time to retake your flag from enemy clutches, based on how many Radar Towers you control.[/p]
• [p]Passive health regeneration while you’re out of combat.[/p]
• [p]Significant updates for the in-game HUD and minimap.[/p]
• [p]Beefed up controller support both in-game and in the menus.[/p]
• [p]Sound effect improvements for footsteps, gunfire, and more.[/p]
• [p]All-new art and layouts for most menus (with more coming soon!)[/p]

[p]There’s plenty more where that came from, too. We’ve got lots of additional improvements in the works based on community feedback, which we plan to bring to the game in future updates.[/p][p][/p][h2]Sign Up to Continue Playtesting[/h2][p]Our demo may be limited to just a couple of days, but once you join our closed playtesting group, you’re in from now until launch. [p]Last Flag is hitting the road once again as we head to São Paulo to take part in Brasil Game Show 2025! Event attendees will be among the very first to get their hands on our brand new contestant, Roadie.[/p][h2]Try Last Flag and Roadie at Brasil Game Show[/h2][p]If you will be at BGS 2025 in-person, set your sights on the Last Flag booth in the expo’s indie area. At our demo stations, you will get hands-on time with Roadie, our new grenade launcher-wielding contestant, and can compete for the flag from show open to close, October 9 – 12. You will also have chances to snatch exclusive swag and chat with members of the Night Street Games team.[/p][h3]Grab your playtest invite during the show[/h3][p]When you stop by the Last Flag booth, make sure to ask for a playtesting invitation. Our game is still in development, and we want to continue to hear from you after BGS concludes. That invitation will be your ticket to join any playtests we host, from now until launch. You’ll also gain access to our Discord server, where we’ll have activities and feedback sessions in Brazilian Portuguese for BGS attendees in the days following the show.[/p][p]And now, we’d better get to packing our bags if we’re going to make it to São Paulo in time for the event. [p]Third-Person Shooter Fest has come to an end, and we’ve brought the Last Flag demo offline. Getting the chance to put this early version of our game into the hands of so many new players has been incredible. We’ve had a blast playing with and against you in “Beat the Devs” matches this week, watching your streams and videos, admiring your cosplays and artwork, and chatting with you about the game during daily Q&A sessions.[/p][p]Most of all, we’re grateful to everyone for trying out Last Flag and sharing feedback with us. We’re still reading through everything the community written so far, and we’ve got lots to discuss as we look to make improvements based on your thoughts. We’re excited to see what you think as we return to private playtesting and roll out new updates over the coming months.[/p][p][/p][h2]Closed Playtests Return[/h2][p]As much fun as it has been tuning in to your channels to watch you play the game this week, playtesters’ Non-Disclosure Agreements go back into effect today. Anything you recorded up until now can still be shared, and anything you’ve already posted can remain publicly visible.[/p][p]However, please do not stream, post videos or screenshots, or share game information from any new playtests after September 1, 2025. Future playtests will include unreleased game content, and we would like to keep it a surprise for as many players as possible.[/p][p][/p][h2]Sign Up to Continue Playtesting[/h2][p]As mentioned above, we’re returning to closed playtesting this week. If you couldn’t get enough of the Last Flag demo while it was live, we’ve got good news: You can continue to join future playtest sessions throughout development by signing up on the official Last Flag website.
