[p]A couple of weeks ago, we were honored by the news that the PC Gaming Show Council nominated Last Flag for their 25 most-anticipated games list. Now, we’re counting down the days until we take part in the PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted 2025 on Thursday, December 4! [/p][p]We can hardly wait to share what we’ve got in store for you during the show. While we can’t spoil too many of the details just yet, here’s a little preview of what to expect:[/p]

[h2]How to Tune In[/h2][p]If you’re as excited as we are, then make sure to mark your calendar to catch the live broadcast on Thursday, December 4 at 12pm PST / 3pm EST / 8pm GMT by heading to PC Gamer’s YouTube and Twitch channels.[/p][p]In addition, we’re planning to host a watch party with the Last Flag playtest community in our official Discord server. If you haven’t joined already, you can head here to grab an invite, and then drop by our stage channel when the show begins to watch the show alongside other players and Night Street devs.[/p][h2]Play the Demo All Weekend Long[/h2][p]In case you hadn’t heard yet, we’re kicking off a limited-time, public demo alongside our appearance at PC Gaming Show next week. You can dive into the demo as soon as the broadcast concludes to take our newest contestant, Skyfire, for a test drive, get your hands on a variety of community-driven improvements in our latest patch, and play the game in your language of choice now that we’ve added a variety of translations. [/p][p]The demo will only be running for a few days, so make sure to jump in and flex your flag-finding skills before it ends on Sunday, December 7 at 10pm PST / 1am EST / 7am CET (Dec 8).[/p][p]That’s all we’ve got for you today, but there’s plenty more Last Flag news to come. [p]We just opened up our booth at WePlay Expo 2025 in Shanghai, China, where our newest contestant is playable on the show floor. While the event itself is just getting started, we couldn’t wait to share an early look at Skyfire and his abilities with you here, as well. Below, we’ve also included a fresh look at Last Flag’s keyart featuring the full contestant lineup, and details about our next public demo coming up on Thursday, December 4.[/p][h2]Skyfire Takes the Stage[/h2][p][/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p]Last Flag is the hottest game show on the planet, but a new contestant is poised to crank up the heat even further. Armed with a custom-built flamethrower, a fully-fueled jetpack, and a knack for showmanship, Skyfire is sure to set audiences ablaze* and soar into the spotlight during his debut episode. Here’s a preview of the firepower he’ll bring to the team whenever he’s on the hunt for the flag.[/p][p]Main Weapon: Flamethrower[/p]

• [p]A close-range weapon, the flamethrower increases the damage it does as its heat builds up before it eventually needs to be vented.[/p]

[p]Alternate Fire: Molten Chunk[/p]

• [p]Lob a chunk of lava that splashes into a pool of fire on impact. Increases the heat level of the flamethrower.[/p]

[p]Passive Ability: Jetpack[/p]

• [p]Holding jump while airborne activates your jetpack, lifting you into the air in free flight.[/p]

[p]Primary Ability: Chain Anchor[/p]

• [p]Place a disco ball that leashes enemies with a chain, slowing them down and stopping them from leaving the area.[/p]

[p]Secondary Ability: Flame Launch[/p]

• [p]Launch yourself high into the air, leaving a pool of fire on the ground.[/p]

[p]Ultimate Ability: Redeemer Joyride[/p]

• [p]Turn your jetpack into a missile as you ride it towards the target and leap off at the last moment before it explodes.[/p]

Rest assured, Last Flag’s studio audience members enjoy the show from the relative safety** of deluxe stadium seating.[/p][p]** All studio audience members are required to review and sign a waiver prior to attending Last Flag filming in person.[/p][h2]Fresh Faces, Refreshed Keyart[/h2][p]Now that Skyfire is ready to sail into Last Flag, we’ve updated our keyart to feature the entire cast so far. In addition to the new arrival, you may notice that two of our contestants are sporting fresh new looks. Camila and Soo-Jin had a visit with the production crew to update their wardrobes and hairstyles before their next on-stage appearances.[/p][p][/p][h2]Dive Into the Demo on December 4[/h2][p]Whether you’re already part of our playtest crew, or you’ve been waiting to test drive Last Flag for the first time, we’re excited to share that we’ve got a new public demo lined up for you on Steam from December 4 - 7! Team up with a friend (or four), lock in your contestant of choice, and give it your all in the quest to swipe the enemy flag, because servers will be up and running all weekend long. [p]As with our previous demo, we’re lifting our Non-Disclosure Agreement as soon as the demo begins, which means you can discuss the game with others, post screenshots, and record or stream gameplay to your heart’s content.[/p][p]Need a warmup before diving in? You got it. The demo will feature our new training gym where you can try out as many contestants as you’d like in the new firing range and ability range before jumping into a match against other players. Last Flag’s world tour continues this week as we gear up for WePlay Expo 2025 in Shanghai, China![/p][p][/p][h2]New Contestant, New Demo & More[/h2][p]During the event, we’re planning to share news that you can get fired up about, including an early look at a brand new contestant who’s sure to heat up the competition when they soar into their Last Flag debut with the next game update.[/p][p]We’re not stopping there! Unveiling a new cast member is just the warm up. We are also going to reveal the final character models for two of our existing contestants, and new keyart featuring the full lineup (so far). We just kicked off a limited-time demo that’s open to all from October 17 - 18, and you can dive in right now.[/p][p]This is the second time we’ve opened up the game to share an early look at what we’ve been working on. We recently released a new patch with lots of improvements, including Roadie, our brand new contestant. [/p][p][/p][h2]Bring the Noise with Roadie (and more!)[/h2][p]With his arm-mounted grenade launcher at the ready, Roadie recently made his debut as the newest contestant to join the cast of Last Flag. Now you can be among the first to give him a spin and share your feedback with us in our Discord server.[/p][p]If you tried Last Flag during Steam’s Third-Person Shooter Fest, we’ve been hard at work making improvements based on feedback we received from demo players and our closed playtest group. Here are just a few of the changes we’ve made since then:[/p]

• [p]Bonus time to retake your flag from enemy clutches, based on how many Radar Towers you control.[/p]
• [p]Passive health regeneration while you’re out of combat.[/p]
• [p]Significant updates for the in-game HUD and minimap.[/p]
• [p]Beefed up controller support both in-game and in the menus.[/p]
• [p]Sound effect improvements for footsteps, gunfire, and more.[/p]
