Sub Rosa, an experimental online multiplayer FPS finally enters Early Access

After being around in some form for quite a few years now, Cryptic Sea and Devolver Digital have now released Sub Rosa into proper Early Access on the Steam store.

After nine years, Sub Rosa finally reaches early access

I first played Sub Rosa around nine years ago, but it's only today reached Steam Early Access. Publisher Devolver Digital marked the occasion with a new cinematic trailer that introduces the multiplayer first-person shooter's slapstick deals and double-crosses.

Multiplayer FPS Sub Rosa has come out of hiding with a publicly listed Steam page




Sub Rosa has been available for years and years, but quietly, with a bit of mystery about it. The multiplayer FPS was added to Steam in 2017, but remained unlisted, so that it wouldn't come up in search. According to publisher Devolver, it acquired 50,000 players over the past four years "through word of mouth and the occasional appearance on YouTube or Twitch."..
