Granser Act 1 - Main scenario is now complete!

[p]Granser Act 1 main scenario is now complete!!!

This means I have over 5 weeks for polish, and adding all additional content I wanted.

As for post release content, besides any bug fixing, and QoL features, I plan on periodically expanding the post game non canonical dungeon.[/p][p]

I cannot wait for you to play it, this project has been a long time coming, first written nearly 25 years ago, and constantly worked on and fine tuned, I made Skautfold solely to learn enough to be able to deliver this story in a satisfying manner, and I never felt more happy with work I have done than now!

See you on the 3rd of April![/p]

3rd of April the new release date

[p]Due to scheduling issues I had to move the release date by a week to the 3rd of April, a Friday.

Everything is on schedule and progress has been great, but sadly I had to shift it.
However as a positive note, all Skautfold games will be on a deep sale for that entire week![/p][p][/p][p]I cant wait for you all to play Act 1, its extremely dear to me, and I poured my very soul into it.[/p][p]Hope to see you on release day![/p][p]

Granser developement update.

[p]First the up to date roadmap:[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]As seen above, I have finished Chapter 10 of 13, everything is still on schedule for the March 25 release date.[/p][p][/p][p]The game is already sitting as a hefty 2gb, mostly due to audio files, more specifically voice lines.[/p][p]Currently sitting at 1600 lines of voiced Dialogue, this has both been a huge commitment both time and money wise. I am very satisfied with the voice actors and their work and I hope it will add a lot to the story and delivery![/p][p][/p][p]I have also spent some time working on an actual animated opening for the game, the following is work in progress, but the general outline is in place:
[/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p]I also worked on several scenes to use a mix of 3d and 2d similar to the opening for certain key scenes, and plan to add more before, and possibly after release.[/p][p][/p][p]That's all I wanted to share for now, but if there are any question I am more than happy to answer them.[/p][p][/p]

Release date and new trailer

[p]First the big and important stuff.[/p][p]Granser will release in 3 parts.[/p][p]Act 1, 2, and 3.[/p][p]This is sadly unavoidable now.[/p][p][/p][p]The good news?
Act 1 will release on March 25th of 2026.[/p][p][/p][p]To showcase the massive progress since the demo, here is a brand new trailer.[/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p]I will talk in detail about current plans, but for now this will have to do.[/p]

Developement update

Just a quick update on the state of the game following the new year.

Half of ACT 1 is now complete!
This may not seem like much out of the 3 acts, as it only means 1/6th of the content is finished, but this is a good milestone because this is the point where the game shifts slowly into a more open experience and some of the key reveals in the story occur.

You might have noticed that the game dropped the Early Access label. This is due to me planning to no longer use the system.
This obviously means the release date is moved to "when its done".
The closest possible release would be in about 2 years from now. :(

I had and is still considering weather or not to do a crowdfunding campaign of some form for the game, not so much to finish it but to give it extra umpf via more music, more voice-acting, etc.

Anyway here is an updated roadmap for the game.
