New VIP Characters š Fable Hospital
Hello, future manager of medieval hospitals!
In previous development diaries, we have shared who your future employees and patients will be. In todayās update, we introduce you to a special type of character: the VIP visitors!

From time to time, we will receive special visits for which we must be prepared. An ancient and powerful figure will come from their earthly or celestial realm to drop by our hospital and see how things are going. And itās best to be prepared: they are profoundly demanding of their subjects (not so much of themselves).
We might receive visits from:

This Greek god is as powerful as he is capricious. When he descends from Olympus, letās hope he approves of what youāre doing with your hospitalā¦ or lightning might strike twice in the same place.
[h2]Odin āļø[/h2]
His ravens tell him everything, but sometimes the Allfather likes to step down from his throne in Asgard and visit your hospital personally.
[h2]Ra āļø[/h2]
The God of the Sun, after battling Apophis every night, comes to check how you're managing your hospitalājust in case he needs healing. Youād better keep him satisfied; the desert heat will be the least of your worries.
[h2]Hades š„[/h2]
The God of the Underworld rarely leaves the Abyss. As the busiest Olympian, he wants to make sure your hospital runs smoothlyāso he doesnāt get more clients in his realm.
[h2]Quetzalcoatl š¦ [/h2]
The Feathered Serpent descends to observe your hospital. Quetzalcoatl, bearer of knowledge and life, expects medicine to flourish in your realmā¦ or perhaps the gods of the underworld will have more work than necessary.
[h2]Inari š¦[/h2]
Inariās spirits wander through your hospital. The god of prosperity watches to see if your management is worthy of his blessingsā¦ or if the sick will end up begging for a miracle.
[h2]King Arthur š”ļø[/h2]
King Arthur has arrived from Camelot to see if your hospital is worthy of legend. He's a bit upset because he couldn't pull Excalibur from the stone, so he took the stone with him to remain King. Will you prove yourself a true ruler of medicine.
VIP characters add an extra layer of depth to managing your hospital. This gives you an additional incentive to always strive for optimal performance, presenting a constant challenge that rewards you generously when everything runs as it should (or almost does). However, be carefulāif they are not pleased, they might not just withhold their rewards but also make your job even more difficult.
