In the last Steam event, we talked about the importance of upgrades and research you can do with the help of your alchemist in your hospital. Now, we’ll dive into something a bit more random...
In Fable Hospital, no map is the same as another. Each region has its own unique biome, with its own resources, extreme climates, and unpredictable conditions.
Did you expect it to rain in the desert? Well, think again... Your water reserves won’t refill with rain because it simply doesn’t rain.

Want to plant crops in the snow? Good luck. Production will be minimal, if you get anything at all. That’s why the wandering merchant will be your best ally (or your worst headache).
[h2]The Wandering Merchant[/h2]
The wandering merchant will appear randomly on any map —forget about memorizing dates— to buy and sell vital resources: food, water, healing plants...

Because no, not all your money will go into building hospitals: if you don’t have supplies, you can’t heal anyone!
But that’s not all, the very mother nature of each map will put you to the test with natural and weather events.
[h2]Natural and Weather Events[/h2]
Each map brings unique natural events: earthquakes, floods, rainstorms...
Yes, they’ll destroy structures. But not all is bad: over time, a flooded area will become more fertile.
And beware of the weather: sandstorms, polar cold, heatwaves, snowstorms...
Make sure you have water and wood reserves if you don’t want your hospital to turn into a freezer or an oven.

Remember, in Fable Hospital, you don’t just manage a hospital, you survive and adapt to an unpredictable world. Stay alert and make sure you’re prepared for the unexpected!
