The Global Weapon Paint Contest (7/8 ~ 8/19)




Show off your design skills by creating your very own weapon paints! The Global Weapon Paint Contest is here! The contest will include templates for a total of 21 weapons. The First Place winner from each region will have their design implemented as an in-game weapon paint at a future date!

Event Schedule

All dates below is based on the server timezone of UTC+0.
  1. Weapon Paint Submission Window: 7/8 (Wed.) - 7/28 (Tue.) (Ended)
  2. Player Poll: 8/5 (Wed.) - 8/12 (Wed.)
  3. Player Poll Results Released: 8/19 (Wed.)
  4. In-Game Implementation: Last quarter of 2020


Event Progression Overview
  1. To determine winners of this contest, there will be an internal evaluation to select up to the Top Five entries, based on criteria such as creativity, suitability, and other qualitative measures. Afterwards, there will be a player poll to choose up to three finalists. The final ranking order will be decided by an internal evaluation.

  2. Contest applications must submitted by 11:59 PM (UTC+0) on 7/28. Any submissions made after this date will not be considered.

  3. Designs in the Top Five or Top Three may be removed if there are potential legal issues, there is evidence of poll manipulation, or if other issues arise.

  4. Each of the first place designs that are ultimately selected for each game service region will be released as a weapon paint. (There will be a total of four paints; Korea, Taiwan, China, and Steam)


How to Participate
  1. Download the weapon template image from the following URL

  2. Create the weapon paint
    You can print and draw directly on the template, or utilize tools such as Photoshop or Illustrator. Please save the finalized image in JPG or PNG format, and attach it to your submission e-mail. Each entrant may submit multiple entries.

  3. Send your submission as an email attachment to the following e-mail address
    You will need to include certain information with your submission, detailed below. If the information you provide is incorrect, you may be excluded from participating in the event or receiving the reward.

  • IGN
    Please make sure it matches the nickname you use in the game.

  • Steam Account Number

  • Weapon Paint Name
    Inappropriate names may immediately disqualify your submission.

  • (Optional) Brief explanation of the weapon paint
    or additional images that can be used as reference for implementing the design.

  • The weapon paint design, attached as an image
    Save the file name in the format of "Your IGN_Weapon Paint Name")

Reward Information
  1. Distribution Schedule: The contest participation reward is scheduled for distribution during the maintenance on 8/19/2020. Prizes for 1st-3rd place winners will be given out after the actual weapon paint items are released.

  2. Everyone who participates in the event (Assuming a submission of high enough quality to be considered) will receive:
    • CSO Weapon Paint Package x1
  3. Top Five Finalists will receive:
    • Transcendence Decoder x35
  4. First through Third place winners will receive:
    • 1st - 3rd Place: Contest weapon paint + pertinent weapon (1st place winner design from Steam, Korea, Taiwan, and China)
    • First Place: Transcendence Decoder x250
    • Second Place: Transcendence Decoder x170
    • Third Place: Transcendence Decoder x70


Notice
  1. Awards may be revoked from contestants who violate the Terms and Conditions or operational rules during the contest and award periods.
  2. Awards may be revoked from contestants who participate using accounts other than their own or who violate the Terms and Conditions by plagiarizing or causing copyright issues.
  3. Awards may be revoked for works that contain images that are violent, sexually suggestive, or offensive to others.
  4. Awards may be revoked from contestants if poll manipulation attempts are discovered.
  5. If there are no entries fitting the selection criteria, the reward or number of winners may be changed.
  6. All contestants are liable for their submissions, in the event of a legal dispute regarding the entry.
  7. The design copyright for contest winners belongs to the contest winner. However, by entering you certify that after you receive the previously announced reward, NEXON Korea Corporation is authorized to release the winning design as a game item and sell it for profit, change or edit it for promotional purposes, post it on websites, social media, fan communities, etc., and use it in future events. For these purposes, NEXON Korea Corporation can request the winner sign a "Consent for the Use of Copyrighted Materials". If the winning party refuses to sign the agreement, their award may be revoked.
  8. A GM or a game operations manager may contact contest winners for information regarding events that are planned for later dates. By participating, you consent to being e-mailed for this purpose.
