[Update] Patch Notes: October 28th



Here's a rundown of some of the major changes in today's update!

    Content: Difficulty System Revamp
    The difficulty stages have been simplified from the previous 12 stages to 5 stages.

    Event: Free Daily Rewards Item Update (10/28 - 11/25)
    The Free Daily Rewards list has been updated. As the 20-day cumulative special reward, you will receive Sigma Weapon Paint that can be applied to the Epic Weapon, Gungnir.

    Event: Halloween Celebration Events (10/28 - 11/11)
    Various Halloween celebration events will be held.

    [Candy Event] When you play Zombie Mode, you can receive Baskets of Candy. Collect 3 candies of the same color and exchange them for items. This time around, the Hopeful Chest includes a Gold Transcendence Red Dragon Cannon as a special item. Don't miss it!

    [Halloween Ticket Collection Event] When you collect tickets by playing the game, you can receive the Halloween Damage Skin or the Mnemonic Weapon Paint, which is a weapon paint for Hunter-Killer X-90.

    [Halloween Pumpkin Grenade Event] Deal random damage with the Pumpkin Grenade.

    Promotion: Season 7 New Transcendence Class Promotion (10/28 - 11/11)
    You can get the new Transcendence Classes, "Boss David Black" and "Special Agent Criss", from decoders during the promotion. When you get Boss David Black, you can get Black's Sunglasses (Permanent). When you get Special Agent Criss, you can get Criss' Military Cap (Permanent).

[h3]Difficulty System Revamp[/h3]The old 12 difficulty stages have been simplified to 5 stages. With this change, VIP perks and scenario map clear rewards have also been updated. You can check the updated map clear rewards by pressing the Check Main Reward button in the Lobby.

Difficulty Changes
  • Old Difficulties: Easy 1-2, Regular, Hard 1-9
  • New Difficulties: Easy, Normal, Hard, Very Hard, and Hell


VIP Perk Changes
  • Silver: Hard clear reward + Regular Reward Box 2 times
  • Gold: Hard clear reward + Regular Reward Box 3 times
  • Platinum: Very Hard clear reward + Intermediate Reward Box 3 times
  • Diamond: Very Hard clear reward + Intermediate Reward Box 4 times
  • VIP: Hell clear reward + Advanced Reward Box 5 times
  • VVIP: Hell clear reward + Advanced Reward Box 7 times


[h3]Miscellaneous Fixes[/h3]
  • Fixed the bug where some images displayed in a different language
  • Fixed the bug where new character images did not display on the message block
  • Fixed the bug where the notice only displayed in English
  • Fixed other minor bugs
 


[h2]Events[/h2]

[h3]Halloween Celebration Candy Event (10/28 - 11/11)[/h3]Obtain Baskets of Candy by playing Zombie Mode during the event. Open the Baskets of Candy to collect candy and get various rewards.

Requirements
  • 1 Basket of Candy given each time you reach 3 minutes of playtime in eligible modes during the event.
  • You can obtain up to 30 Baskets of Candy a day.
  • Eligible Modes: Zombie Hero, Zombie Z, Zombie Evolution, and Zombie Scenario


How to Obtain and Use Candy
  • Use the Basket of Candy to get 1 random Green, Pink, Blue, or Red Candy.
  • Collect 3 of the same colored candy and use them to get rewards.


Rewards
  • Green Candy x3: 1,000 Mileage Coupon
  • Pink Candy x3: Starlight Rolling Shooter (Permanent)
  • Red Candy x3: Unique Decoder x1
  • Blue Candy x3: Hopeful Chest x1


Notice
  • You can only participate in rooms with 4 or more players.
  • You cannot participate in Studio Mode.
  • You can obtain up to 30 Baskets of Candy a day.
  • All Candy and Basket of Candy items will be removed during the maintenance on November 11th.



[h3]Halloween Ticket Collection Event (10/28 - 11/11)[/h3]You can receive CSN:S Event Tickets when you complete certain missions during the event. You can receive various rewards by collecting tickets.

Ticket Acquiring Conditions
  • Daily login: 5 tickets
  • Reach 30 minutes of login: 1 ticket (repeatable)
  • Score 10 zombie kills in Random Rules Zombie Hero Halloween Assault: 15 tickets
  • Score 10 zombie assists in Random Rules Zombie Hero Halloween Assault: 10 tickets
  • Score 10 zombie kills in Random Rules Zombie Hero Italy: 15 tickets
  • Score 10 zombie assists in Random Rules Zombie Hero Italy: 10 tickets
  • Complete class Exploration 1 time: 5 tickets
  • Complete class Exploration 2 times: 10 tickets


Rewards for Total Number of Tickets Obtained
  • Total 555 tickets: Halloween Damage Skin (30 Days)
  • Total 999 tickets: Hunter-Killer X-90 + Mnemonic Weapon Paint x1


Notice
  • Conditions, except for the login time mission, can only be met once a day.
  • You can only make progress in rooms with 4 or more players.
  • All unused tickets will be removed during maintenance on November 11th.



[h3]Halloween Pumpkin Grenade Giveaway (10/28 - 11/11)[/h3]Get a Pumpkin Grenade by logging in during the event. The Pumpkin Grenade deals random damage in featured modes.

Eligible Modes
  • Zombie Hero, Zombie Z, Zombie Evolution, and Zombie Scenario


Damage Change
  • Normal damage (50% chance)
  • 2x damage (40% chance)
  • Instant death (10% chance)


Notice
  • All grenades given will be removed during maintenance on 11/11.



[h3]Zombie Hero: Random Rules Event (10/28 - 11/11)[/h3]In Random Rules maps for Zombie Hero mode, the rules of the game change every round. The rules will be displayed for 3 seconds prior to the beginning of the round, and you can check them at any time by pressing the L key during the match. To celebrate Halloween, a Halloween theme will be applied to the Assault map.

  • You can collect points each time you use a decoder. When you collect enough points, you can exchange them for a Transcendence Class.
    - 1 point every time you use 1 Class Decoder

    - When you reach 150 points and 300 points, you can choose either Boss David Black or Special Agent Criss. Point rewards can only be earned once per account.


Notice
  • The contents of the Decoder will change when the promotion ends.
  • Unused Premium Class Decoders will be exchanged for 50 Mileage each during maintenance on 11/11.
  • Class Decoders will not be removed, but Boss David Black and Special Agent Criss will no longer appear after the promotion ends.
