It's Almost Here | Fun Facts #3

[p]So, here we are. Less than one week till release![/p][p]It’s been a long road getting here, and as a solo dev, it’s surreal to see the finish line in sight. I’ve done my best to pack the game with details, features, and moments that I hope you’ll enjoy.

Use the scanner to quickly locate key items, hidden notes with potential keypad codes, stacks of cash, and more. [/h3][p][/p][h3]3. Attacking an unaware and calm target guarantees a 100% knockout - strike smart. [/h3][p][/p][p]Extra note: We’re aiming to have trading cards ready for launch day - we’ll confirm closer to release.[/p][p] Extra note 2: The Game is right now under Steam Deck verification! This Week Portion of Fun Facts:

  1. [h3]You can find something on the roof of your hideout (if you can get there).[/h3]

  2. [h3]You can disable laser alarms and smoke detectors by shooting at them with the pistol or using the crossbow's hacking dart.[/h3]


  3. [h3]Window shutters can be disabled individually. Alternatively, you can just destroy them with a weapon, but that will trigger an alarm.[/h3]

Hi everyone! We're just 3 weeks away from release 🎉

Each week until launch, we'll be sharing some fun facts about the full game. Here's the first batch:

[h3]1. New customization options[/h3]

You can now customize your bags! We’ve also added new clothing options, such as a suit and additional balaclava colors.

[h3]2. Hand-to-hand combat[/h3]

Fighting doesn’t require a weapon anymore — you can now go hand-to-hand if needed.

[h3]3. Quick fix for unreachable tools in the hideout[/h3]

Left your tools in a hard-to-reach spot? Use the terminal to transfer them back to your truck instantly.

Playtest summary

Hi, I want to thank everyone who participated in the playtest. We managed a nice peak of 734 people. I wanna address some issues and complaints - many of them are already fixed for the full version of the game. Here's the list:

[h3]Bug fixes[/h3]

1. Gamepad issue - can't use keyboard / mouse with a gamepad connected, or even without one
Status: Fixed. You can now switch between the gamepad and K&M on the fly by using either one.

2. Stolen loot amount not displayed
Status: Fixed

3. NPC tracking not working after learning 'Perception' skill
Status: Fixed

[h3]Improvements and other changes[/h3]

1. Reader skill now also provides a 10% experience gain bonus
2. Window shutters can be opened individually if you have the 'Hackerman Level 2' skill
3. You can now fight with your fists (and some NPCs can too)
4. Spawn point in Lakeside St. moved away from houses
5. Opening doors doesn't alert the police immidiately to your location anymore
6. Friendly fire enabled
7. Banana issue fixed
8. Many minor issues and bugs were fixed


We're less than a month from release which is exciting news ːsteamhappyː

As we get even closer to release, I will share more news and some comparsions between the full game and the demo.
