Thank you for playing The House of Tesla
[p]From the whole team at Blue Brain Games, we wanted to take a moment to say thank you for playing The House of Tesla. It’s important for us to know that you are having fun with the game and that it meets your expectations. That’s why we have been reading every comment, forum posts, Discord message, and support ticket - and have prepared an update plan to improve the gameplay. This is only possible with your feedback, and we would like you to know that this is appreciated. We encourage you to continue contributing feedback to the community discussions. If you have enjoyed the game, we encourage you to leave a review, as this massively helps with visibility on Steam.[/p][p][/p][p]Along with QoL (quality of life) fixes and improvements, here are the issues we have identified and are committed to fixing to improve your gameplay experience:[/p][p][/p][p]Increase the speed at which hints are delivered to the player.[/p][p]We understand that some of the puzzles may be causing frustration and that waiting for the next hint to appear is hindering your progress. Therefore, we have decided to increase the speed at which hints appear to help you complete puzzles and move on to the next. This improvement will be implemented this week. [/p][p][/p][p]Hint system improvements. [/p][p]We appreciate that not all of the hints are clear, and in some cases they may cause frustration - this was not our intention. We will implement updates to the language used to make what you need to do in each puzzle clearer and also help you find the solution should you need it. We have also prepared a walkthrough video guide that can help overcome any challenges: [/p][p][/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p]We certainly welcome feedback. If there is a particular puzzle that you are struggling with, please let us know in the feedback thread in discussions or join our Discord. For the sake of spoilers, we would appreciate that you share this feedback with spoiler text so that new players are able to enjoy the game.[/p][p][/p][p]Highlighting what to do.[/p][p]Some of the feedback we have received indicates that it can be difficult in certain situations where players don’t know what to do next. We will be implementing graphical updates, and through these visual changes it should become more apparent what the player needs to do next, and what is interactable. Our team will work on these updates on a per-chapter basis, releasing improvements as each chapter is completed.[/p][p][/p][p]Additional languages.[/p][p]We will be adding Chinese and Japanese languages to the game. We encountered a small delay in adding these, due to needing the correct fonts to display the text in a way that made it readable for those players.[/p][p][/p][p]There are other areas for improvement based on your feedback that we plan to implement. However, these updates will take a bit of time and additional testing. We appreciate your patience while we work on these.[/p][p][/p]
[/p][p]We value our longstanding community and new players alike, and we would appreciate it if you could continue to share all your suggestions, comments, and feedback on the Steam discussion Forum or on our Discord. If you encounter a bug or experience an issue not mentioned in this post, please create a support ticket where we will be able to help you to troubleshoot it.
[/p][p]Thank you, [/p][p]Blue Brain Games.[/p][p][/p]
- [p]Skip puzzle functionality. We plan to add the ability for players to skip puzzles. We will first address puzzles that players are reporting the most difficulty with. If you have been stuck on a puzzle and you believe a ‘skip’ option would be helpful, please let us know in the feedback thread of discussions or on our Discord. We will also add this functionality to the rest of the puzzles in the game, so you can continue to play and enjoy everything the game has to offer. [/p]
- [p]Chapter select system. We implemented an option at the end of the game where players can select chapters and go back and replay them. We’ve realised based on your feedback that it would be better to implement a system where you can revisit a chapter after you have played it, instead of waiting until the end of the game.[/p]
