Big update 0.5 - new luxury hotel and level in Los Angeles!

Today's update adds a five-star hotel to the game. We tried to come up with some interesting shapes for the rooms of this hotel, so sometimes you'll have to think hard about how to place them. We hope you will like the luxurious look of the hotel too!


At the same time we have added a new level in Los Angeles, where you will have to build this new luxury hotel.

[h3]In addition to that:[/h3]
- Fixed bugs in the French and German translations
- Fixed bugs that occurred in some cases when removing the elevator shaft (such as the porter freezing)
- Fixed a bug that occurred when deleting a room of the guest who is in the sauna at that moment

Update 0.4 - Exterminator Logic Overhaul

The main new feature of today's update is the new logic of exterminators' workflow. Earlier their work was almost similar to that of maids. We tried to introduce something new. Now an exterminator needs a special chemical to clean the room from insects. It is made in the exterminator's room by the exterminator themselves. Thus, the exterminator now performs two actions: in their spare time they produce the product, and then they clean the rooms with it.


[h3]Also, we've made the following changes:[/h3]
- Now if you close the game on the game over screen, it will start from the same screen the next time you start the game
- Added a parking icon to the Cleveland waves timeline
- Fixed a bug where the construction sound could be unpaused
- Fixed words in different languages not being aligned properly on some interface buttons
- Fixed main menu appearance on “narrow” resolutions
- Now any reception appears with a facade first. The facade is removed after the direction for the elevator shaft is selected
- Removed old UI on the edges of the free game timeline

We are planning to release another big update that will add a five-star hotel to the game along with a new level very soon. Testing is already underway, so you won't have to wait long.

Update 0.3.1 - continuing to improve the quality of the game!

Today's update is dedicated to fixing recently found bugs.

[h3]List of changes:[/h3]
- On the level in New York, returned the guest list of wishes on the wave start screen
- Internet cafe is now displayed on the wave list screen in Miami
- Fixed a bug where parking could not be built in the parking mechanism tutorial on low screen resolutions
- Fixed a bug where the next wave would not start if you ended the previous wave with the reception demolished
- Fixed the size of some localization texts on interface buttons
- Fixed a bug where guests always chose the nearest sauna out of two. Now, if the nearest sauna has too big of a queue, guests head to the farther one
- Fixed a bug where the background of a previous free game session could transfer over to the next one even when a new background was chosen in rare occasions

Update 0.3 - New main menu and interface!

The main novelty of today's update is the addition of a completely new main menu, as well as the redesign of all interface elements in the game. We tried to stick to the “paper” style, reminiscent of the graphics of old comic books of the last century.


[h3]Also in this update:[/h3]
- Fixed a bug where porters could ignore one of the two kitchens;
- Fixed a bug where the game could freeze when deleting an exterminator's room;
- Fixed a bug in one of the tutorial steps in Kansas where the game could be softlocked if the laundry room was out of the player's field of sight;
- Fixed display of city icons on the map in different resolutions (previously they could shift sideways);
- Fixed a bug in the tutorial step about building parking lots;
- Fixed some localization issues.

In the coming days we plan to update the interface in the demo version as well.

Update 0.2 - new rooms, underground parking lots, internet cafes and more

We are glad to present to you update 0.2, which took us a little over a month to prepare. One more room for each hotel has been added to the game. We tried to make a variety of shapes to add more depth to the building process. That is, each hotel now has 6 living room types.


Some guests will now demand a parking space for their car. To satisfy their desire, you can build an underground parking lot. One cell of underground parking includes three parking spaces. Guests leave their car in the parking space and wait for the elevator on the underground floors. A total of three underground floors are available for construction.

The Internet Cafe is a new service room. Guests who want to use a computer and access the internet can come here. Internet cafe can be upgraded by adding new places with computers.


Due to these changes, we have redesigned all the levels. Therefore, you can play again from the beginning. Or replay the levels that you liked the most. You will definitely find something new on them. The changes have also affected the balance. Among other things, we tried to reduce the cost of managers so that starting from the level in New York it would be convenient for players to hire them and not to settle all the guests manually by dragging and dropping them into the rooms. Exterminators, who are hated by some, were also rebalanced (although we have an idea about them - in one of the next updates we will change the logic of their work - it will be more interesting!).

Building a hotel in the Free mode is now possible up to the hundredth floor! Due to this, we had to make adjustments to the balance, as well as to the background. What can you expect at such a height? Try to build a tall hotel and find out!

We have added Steam collectibles!
These include badges, 10 Trading cards, 5 Emoticons and 3 profile backgrounds.

In addition to that, there are a lot of small changes to the game:
- Added buttons to teleport the camera to the very bottom and the very top of the hotel. They appear on the left side of the screen when the hotel is at least 10 floors tall.
- Added new tutorial steps for presenting new features (such as building underground parking lots).
- Now if you delete a room during construction, the full cost of the room is returned.
- Fixed a bug where the room insulation window would open too high, off the screen.
- Fixed elevator checkboxes working in such a way that a checkbox is now always checked in one of the fields and you cannot uncheck it, leaving all fields empty.
- Fixed a bug when upon changing screen resolution, all guests fit on the waiting panel, but the scroll arrow still remained in place.
- Increased the maximum possible number of porters to 12.
- Fixed a bug in Montreal that occurred if you reached the second wave without buying service rooms and waited for the message that they should be bought, and then restarted the game so that the wave start window would appear afterwards.
- Other minor fixes.

Since the changes are significant, we had to remove progress within levels. However, global progress (information about which levels have been completed) will remain untouched. We hope you understand that this is a forced measure due to the redesign of all levels.
