Leaving Early Access

Robot Trivia Funtime has left the early access programme and moved into normal release.

Six months ago we released Robot Trivia Funtime as an early access title. Since then, we've continued adding core content and also released a Linux version and a demo version. It's been a fun process, but it's time to graduate.
Releasing Robot Trivia Funtime
We feel the early access process has reached its conclusion and that it is time to move forward and continuing developing Robot Trivia Funtime as a full release.

Since first going public, we've fixed bugs, added customisation and cosmetics, added AI bots, improved on the question editor, updated the graphics and interface and participated in the Made in NZ event in October. We also released three question packs on the Workshop, debuted our Linux client, and released and maintained a cross-platform demo for players to try.

We will continue to add features and develop Robot Trivia Funtime, but we're beyond needing early access status.
Retiring the Demo
We released our demo at the end of May and updated it over the last few months with new features. It made to let players freely participate during our early access period.

We've enjoyed reaching new players this way, but as we revealed a little under two weeks ago, we are now retiring the demo to focus our resources fully on the main clients for Windows and Linux.
What's Next
We're continuing work on Robot Trivia Funtime and we've got some new content planned, so keep an eye out for future updates!

That's all for now. Thanks for reading!

Last Chance to Try Robot Trivia Funtime Demo

The demo version of Robot Trivia Funtime is due to conclude, with an aim to retire it in November. We're letting everyone know in advance to give people a chance to download and try it in the meantime.
Concluding the Demo
The demo version was released in May and intended to promote the Early Access phase of Robot Trivia Funtime and build a dialogue with curious players. We've been excited at the amount of downloads of the demo and some of the videos people have created of it.

We're planning to graduate Robot Trivia Funtime from Early Access soon, and want to dedicate our small resources on the full Windows and Linux versions of the game, to make the game the best it can be. For now, there's still plenty of time to enjoy the demo.
Some Neat Videos
Speaking of videos, Robot Trivia Funtime looks great in shorts and reels. We've made a couple of trivia videos using gameplay footage. You can watch them on the Silcion Kiwi YouTube page:
