Update 1.3.15 is Here: Mac Support and Ingredient Cloning! 🍔

Hello, Galactic Chefs!

We've just rolled out a new update for Galaxy Burger! Your incredible support helps us make the game better every day, and we're excited to share what's new.

This patch focuses on two major additions: official macOS support and a new ingredient cloning mechanic.
New Mechanic: Ingredient Cloning
By popular demand, you can now duplicate raw ingredients right in the middle of a shift. We hope this makes the gameplay feel smoother and a bit easier on your hands.

How It Works:
  • Mouse: While holding an ingredient, right-click.
  • Gamepad: While holding an ingredient, press the X button.

We know many of you are also looking forward to grabbing multiple ingredients at once. This feature requires a major code overhaul, so we're not quite ready to release it yet, but it's definitely on our radar.

If the new cloning feature isn't your cup of tea, you can always disable it in the gameplay settings.
Official macOS Support
You asked, and we listened! We're thrilled to announce that Galaxy Burger now has full macOS support. The game runs great on a variety of Mac models and supports cross-play with Windows and cloud saves across platforms.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped us with testing! We're also here to provide official technical support.
Other Improvements
We've also cooked up several other tasty changes and fixes:
  • Animations & Sounds: Polished the animations and sounds for handing over orders.
  • UI: Refreshed the loading screen and the end-of-shift results screen.
  • Multiplayer: Smoothed out item and stat synchronization for a better co-op experience.
  • Bug Fixes: Squashed a critical button conflict on gamepads and resolved several touch control issues.
We Value Your Feedback
We've added two new buttons to the settings menu:
  • "Report a Bug"
  • "Leave Feedback"

All feedback is submitted completely anonymously. Your input is invaluable in helping us improve the game, so please keep it coming!
Special Offer! -35% OFF
To celebrate the update, we're kicking off a sale! Starting this evening (CET), Galaxy Burger will be available with a 35% discount. If you or your friends have been waiting to join our cosmic kitchen, this is the perfect chance!
What's Next?
While our focus remains on Galaxy Burger, we'd also like to give you a sneak peek at our other projects.

Update 1.3.12 + Mac OS support (in beta-testing)

Hey Chefs! We've focused on fairer order ratings, smoother co-op, and quality-of-life fixes. Here’s what’s new:

  • Delivery Tray fixed: Only finished food goes to the tray. Tools, containers, and equipment no longer get sent by mistake.
  • No accidental double-pick: If you already hold an ingredient, baskets won’t hand you another one.
  • More reliable cooking surfaces: Ingredients sitting on other equipment are no longer treated as if they’re on the current one. The fryer ignores liquids and won’t grab items from the wrong parent.
  • Fairer order ratings & smarter recipe recognition: The game better understands custom orders with wishes and won’t confuse them with similar recipes.
For example: there was a case where a Sub‑Orbital Sandwich with excluded ingredients became identical to an Orbital Sandwich and got rejected — now the system recognizes this and the customer accepts the custom order.
  • Perfect means 100%: Flawlessly prepared dishes now correctly show a full 100% score (no more 98–99% for perfection).
  • “Vegan Menu” coupon availability tweaked: This coupon now appears only on planets/kitchens where a reasonable variety of vegan burgers can be cooked, avoiding situations with a menu reduced to just drinks or a single dish.
  • Smoother co‑op gameplay: Reduced micro‑lags and stutters thanks to networking optimizations.
  • Improved LAN connectivity: More reliable local play: better local IP selection with a safe fallback.
  • Stability: Various background tweaks to improve overall reliability.
macOS Beta (testing)
macOS support is available in beta and not yet officially listed on the store page while we finish full testing. You can try it now via the Steam beta branch (no password).

How to enable the beta on macOS (or any platform):
  • Open your Steam Library
  • Right‑click Galaxy Burger → Properties
  • Go to the Betas tab
  • Choose the branch: beta (no password required)
  • Close the window — Steam will download the beta. To return to stable, set Betas to “None”.

We’ve tested networking features (including LAN), and cross‑play between Windows and macOS worked smoothly in our tests. You can play together in the same co‑op session without issues.

Please report any macOS issues (graphics, input, performance, stability) via the Steam Discussions — your feedback will help us finalize macOS support.

Thanks for playing, and see you in the kitchen!

Galaxy Burger 1.3.11 Update is Live!

Lock Your Kitchen Gear & Enjoy a Smoother Experience!
Kitchen Customization Rules
We heard you loud and clear! Many of you accidentally moved kitchen equipment with a misclick, and we know how frustrating that can be. To fix this, we've added a new "Kitchen Rules" section on the first page of the recipe book in "My Kitchen" mode.

You can now lock your kitchen equipment in place. In co-op, you can also stop friends from rearranging your carefully organized kitchen. These rules apply to all your kitchens.
Bug Squashing & Improvements
This update also brings a bunch of important fixes to improve your gameplay:

  • Fixed freezes when dropping boards loaded with ingredients.
  • Resolved a bug with food containers when dragging a board with a food container ingredient near another one.
  • Fixed a bug where clients could get stuck on a loading screen if the host quickly clicked "continue" in the coupons dialog.
  • Fixed an issue with dragging and dropping food onto sauce bottles.
  • Improved performance when you're using a lot of sauces.
  • Smashed a critical bug where you could pick up two items at once (like a cup and a lid), blocking you from doing anything. This was especially easy to do when item stacks were close together.
  • Ingredients on a board will no longer interact with cooktops or fryers while you move them around.
  • We've made several other small fixes and optimizations to the network code for better stability and fewer crashes. We're still hunting down all crash-related bugs.
  • Fixed the widget for our other games in the main menu for all languages. Buttons were sometimes displayed incorrectly, and the description text was often cut off.

Thank you for your continued support and feedback! We hope these changes make your culinary adventures in Galaxy Burger even more fun.

Happy cooking!
Galactic Workshop team.

Update 1.3.1: Small improvement

Hey everyone!

We've just rolled out a small update to make your game experience even more enjoyable.

The main highlight: We've lowered the unlock requirement for My Kitchen from 4 stars on a planet to just 3. Now you can get to personalizing your space even sooner!
We also want to give a massive shout-out to all of you for your incredible support and feedback. We're reading every single comment under the news posts and on the forums. Over the next week, we’ll be focusing on fixing the issues you've reported. While we can't promise to fix everything at once, we're committed to tackling as much as we can.

Thanks,
The Galactic Workshop Team

New Update 1.3: "My Kitchen" is Here!

Greetings, galactic chefs!

We're excited to announce that the My Kitchen update for Galaxy Burger is now available!
The My Kitchen Feature
You can now drag and drop equipment and food containers anywhere in the kitchen! Create the perfect layout that works just for you.

Your layout will be saved between shifts, so you can focus on what's most important—making delicious burgers for your customers.

Please note: The My Kitchen feature unlocks once you reach a 3-star reputation on a planet.
New Dish Type: Sub Sandwiches
Introducing a new dish type: sub sandwiches! These tasty treats will be a great addition to your menu.

What makes sub sandwiches special? Unlike burgers, the ingredient order doesn't matter! No more memorizing complex recipes.
New Star System: Tabby
Explore the new Tabby star system, featuring new planets to discover! Here you'll find new ingredients: iceberg lettuce, quail eggs, ham, and a new type of pickle.
New Customer Types
Get ready for two new customer types: Sweet Tooths, who love sweets even in their burgers, and Builders, who order tons of ingredients to empty your stock—they don't even need the food itself.
Game Balance Improvements
We've made progression smoother: we've lowered the reputation requirements for getting 4 and 5 stars on planets and reduced the cost and requirements for unlocking new star systems. Now, advancing in the game will be more comfortable for everyone.

We know waiting for patties and other ingredients to cook was tedious. So, we've cut their cooking time by about 20% and increased the time before they burn. You won't have to watch the grill so closely anymore, giving you more time for other tasks!
Quality of Life Improvements
• Zoom Level Saving - Your zoom level is now saved between shifts.
  • Cursor Skin Customization - Choose from 9 different colors, perfect for co-op to tell players apart.
  • Improved Drag and Drop - Now, when you let go of ingredients or equipment, they'll automatically snap to the nearest valid spot instead of returning to their original position.
  • Random Planet Button - After your shift ends, you can instantly travel to another random unlocked planet in the current star system.
  • UI Enhancements - We've updated the planet selection menu and the kitchen screen. For example, you can now see how many customers are waiting for their orders.
  • Customer Feedback - If a customer isn't completely happy with their order, you can find out what they didn't like to avoid similar mistakes in the future.
  • Information about our other games - You can now find information and links to our other projects in the main menu.
  • VRAM (Video Memory) Optimization - Improved performance on computers with integrated graphics.
Bug Fixes
We've fixed several bugs with coupons that weren't working correctly, like the one for tips. In co-op mode, we've added extra synchronization before a shift starts to make sure all players are loaded in.

We've also fixed many other issues you reported on the forums and in emails. We paid special attention to co-op mode: fixed several bugs, resolved desync issues, and improved overall stability. Thanks for your feedback!
🎉 Announcement: Fantasy Burger
While you're cooking in space, we're already working on something new! We want to share the story behind our next game.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3514750?utm_source=gb-upd-1-3-news

For a long time, we wondered what to do next. Pizza? Coffee? It all felt too predictable. Then it hit us: what if we took our favorite cooking mechanics into a world of magic and fantasy?

Imagine: Fantasy Burger, a game where you'll cook not just food, but magical dishes for elves, dragons, and other mystical creatures! A huge kingdom map awaits explorers, and new dish types will unlock incredible possibilities. There's so much we can build around magic and fantasy!

Important note: We will continue to support Galaxy Burger and release small updates with bug fixes for it.

🎮 The game's page is already on Steam!
Add Fantasy Burger to your wishlist, to follow its development and get notified when the free demo is released. The release is planned for Fall 2026. 🏰✨
Second Announcement: Decor Quest
Additionally, we're working on Decor Quest—a cozy sandbox game about decorating dream homes. And there's also a snobby cat who really dislikes being ignored!
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3041940?utm_source=gb-upd-1-3-news
Our another artist, Maria Skokova, is working on this project. What's especially exciting is that Decor Quest will also feature a co-op mode for 2-4 players! The Decor Quest page is already available. The release is planned for August 2026. 🏡
Add Decor Quest to your wishlist, so you don't miss the free demo coming in 2025.

P.S.
See you in the space kitchen!
