Update V0.2.0 - Tides of Change

[h2]Introducing: Runes[/h2][h2][/h2][p]Runes are your quintessential run modifiers.[/p][p]From double boss fights to flipped item rarities, these runes will encourage new playstyle and give you some additional gameplay variety![/p][p]Runes are unlocked through achievements, similarly to weapons.[/p][p]They are all unlocked relatively easily to keep them accessible, so just play a little and you'll get them with no problem 🙂[/p][p]Hope they spice up your runs!
[/p][h2]Weapons: Dagger, Guardian's Bulwark & Eye Of The Abyss[/h2][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Here are some new weapon types we're introducing. To differentiate the new weapons from the existing ones, the direction we've taken was to design new and interesting gimmicks for these new weapons, which we hope would offer new and interesting playstyles for you to enjoy!
[/p][h2]Balance changes:[/h2][h3]Weapon Reworks: Molten Sickle & Blighted Trident[/h3][p]We've been wanting to rework these for a while now as they felt rather weak or outdated compared to more recent weapons and to compensate for the status effect damage nerf in an earlier patch.[/p][p]Here are the changes:[/p][h3]Molten sickle:[/h3][p]• Slightly changed the timing of sickle's attacks.[/p][p]• Strengthened the ability, ability now inflicts overheat, and explosion damage has been increased.[/p][h3]Blighted Trident:[/h3][p]• Attacks now have a chance to poison[/p][p]• Poison duration from the ability has been increased.[/p][p][/p][h2]Item Updates:[/h2][p]• Lucid bastion hp & damage has been reduced[/p][p]• Tidepiercer damage has been reduced[/p][p][/p][h2]Bug Fixes:[/h2][p]• Generation: Generation has been fully fixed, this means no more floating altars, no more wrongly placed chests, no more missing stuff, everything is exactly where it should be.[/p][p]• Molten sickle: Previously the explosion did no damage[/p][p]• Blobber's first trait, Septic Shock, was previously shooting 50x the number of projectiles it was supposed to, causing an immense amount of lag. This has been resolved.[/p][p]• Deathscreen previously may have missing stats display.[/p][p]• Fixed an issue where the player could not access the Boss Rush after finishing a run in the lobby tutorial.[/p][p]• Magma eye's projectile now shoots correctly[/p][p][/p][h2]Small Changes:[/h2][p]• Perforator did not have a boss icon, this has been fixed.[/p][p]• Starting Boss Rush fight now removes all active dropped items off the map.[/p][p]• Some enemies gain hyperarmour while doing charge attacks[/p]

Updates:
  • Added audio feedback for various Items and Weapons.
  • Lucid Bastion reworked, shield now offers protection for the entirety of the dash duration.


Bug fixes:
  • Temporary charges on active items are now cleared upon picking up a new active item.
  • Fixed an issue where the Bubble in Blobber's final phase did not interact correctly with the small poison bubbles.
  • Achievements descriptions now update more consistently.
  • Flaming grasp is now obtainable from magma cavern chests.
  • Fixed an issue where Echoing Coral gets stuck on one enemy
  • Fixed an issue where soul sword and molten sickle failed to trigger on hit effects
  • Fixed an issue where ruination stops working upon soul totem completion

Update 0.1.80a Now Live! Bug Fixes & Performance Boosts

Updates:
  • Improved controller support. The D-pad can now move the cursor.
  • Optimized performance and reduced lag during gameplay.
  • Added a damage threshold to trigger boss fights.
  • Soul Sword now refills to 100% after defeating a boss in Boss Rush.
  • Adjusted Sea Angel’s “Last Stand” trait for Boss Rush.
  • Players can now dash without any directional input.


Bug Fixes:
  • Fixed a bug where Abyssal Valor stat boosts weren’t removed when the item was lost.
  • Fixed an issue where Ruination Axe failed to interact correctly with Spearhead.
  • Fixed a bug where the controller cursor didn’t appear on the death screen.

v0.1.70a Patch Notes

Bug Fixes:
  • Fixed an issue where the "Damage" and "Damage Taken" stats were not being registered.
  • Fixed an issue where item unlocks failed to sync with achievements, causing some items to be incorrectly unobtainable.
  • Fixed an issue where Charon's Obol failed to spawn projectiles after a certain amount of usage.
  • Fixed an issue where resolution adjustments made through the pause menu were not being applied.
  • Fixed an issue where, under certain circumstances, Sea Angel became invulnerable.
  • Fixed an issue where the Seafarer's Compass indicator did not disappear.


Balance Changes:
  • Abyssal Valor's cooldown has been increased.
  • Damage from Poison and Overheat has been reduced.
  • Drop rates for legendary items have been adjusted.
  • Charon's Obol hitbox has been increased.
  • Health pools for some bosses have been adjusted.
  • Health and damage values for some enemies have been adjusted.
  • Currency drop amounts from enemies have been adjusted.
  • EXP requirements for level-ups have been adjusted.
  • Unwanted Sentience's range and projectile count have been reduced.
  • I-frames during dashes have been adjusted.


Quality of Life:
  • Added an option to press ESC to return to the main menu from the lobby.
