Loyal subjects, hear ye!

Thanks to everyone who has shared feedback on our discord as well as steamcommunity forums. Update 0.5.4 contains balance changes aimed at buffing underpowered troops and making them more viable. The enemy waves were also rebalanced and are now harder after the 1st boss, yet the late game troops can take care of them. As these troops are much more useful now, there are more builds to play around.

[h2]Changes[/h2]

TROOPS:
  • Late game troops are stronger now and are produced faster (and cheaper)
  • Dragon Boss' HP, damage and fire breath damage are increased. Now he performs his special ability 3 times instead of 2


BUILDINGS:
  • Late game buildings are cheaper and more obtainable


SPELLS:
  • The spells unlocked via the upgrade tree are more powerful now


ENEMY WAVES
  • Waves after the first boss are harder and more tankier. As a result you have to rely more on the quality of your army rather than the damaging spells (spells are still very useful)



NEW BUILDINGS UPGRADES:

Stables:
  • Increases troops capacity by 2

Dragon oven:
  • Increases troops capacity by 2
  • Increases attack speed by 20%

Archery:
  • Increases troops capacity by 2 (replaced extra attack speed upgrade)

Academy of fire:
  • Increases troops capacity by 2
  • PREVIOUS upgrade reworked: now sets enemies on fire, dealing bonus damage over time
  • Ballista factory:
  • Increases damage by 15% and applies slow to enemies shot
  • Increases troops capacity by 2

Catapult factory:
  • Catapults receive 20% chance to stun enemies
  • Increases troops capacity by 2


OTHER:
  • Mill and forge can now be found both in Building T1 and T2 upgrades making them more common. Their production speed is also increased by about 50%
  • Spells are more rare now and the building upgrades are more common among the rewards
  • Cronenberg unit is now time limited and can no longer be used to spawn an infinite amount of junior cronenbergs
  • Twin arrows artifact no longer buffs just crossbowmen, now it buffs all of the ranged units, damage boost reduced: 6% -> 3%
  • Wine excavations now provides 1 wine for each Wheat field or Small wheat field every 10 seconds
  • Productive and poor tiles are now removed by default. Instead you can unlock 2 productive tiles via the upgrade tree


FIXES:
  • Some ui fixes improving usability
  • New branch of the game for the people who experience Win32 function 0x887a0005 CRASH
  • (has to be in a separate branch as it is a little unstable sometimes)
