Or months ago, maybe. I don't know and I have no time to check, because I'm playing the Steam demo for The King Is Watching. I wrote about it last year, but that was an older demo build. Things were different then, but the core of this minimalist city builder strategy remains: you'll need to actively train your kingly eyes on your feckless underlings if you want them to do any work. Don't watch the wheat fields, no food. Don't watch the barracks, no knights. You'll need those knights to defend from attacks too. Do you see how it all connects?! Do you?! Please, do your research. On average, each brave player hath journeyed for 1 hour and 43 minutes, with a most impressive 8% of ye devoting more than 5 hours to the kingdom's cause. And last, we now stand at over 60,000 wishlists strong!

Here’s what hath changed thanks to your noble feedback:

• Balance Updates – Enemies and bosses have been adjusted, with the first boss weakened, yet the fearsome Dragon Boss now made mightier and more dangerous.
  
• New Building Upgrades – Fortify thy kingdom with upgrades to the Crystal Mine, Vineyard, School of Magic, and others, all providing greater speed and strength.
  
• Improved Troops and Buildings – Troops grow stronger, buildings more accessible, and late-game structures cost less.
  
• Mighty Spells and Artifacts – Spells unlocked via upgrades are now more powerful, and artifacts shall be discovered in battles and from merchants to spice thy strategies.
  
• Enemy Waves – Foes after the first boss grow heartier; thou must strengthen thy troops to prevail, yet magic remains most useful still!
