Demo Patch 0.5.5

Loyal subjects, hear ye!

Patch 0.5.5 brings some minor balance changes as well as some bug fixes and UI improvements

[h3]Balance changes[/h3]
  • First boss HP slightly decreased
  • Catapults and ballista capacity are changed: 3 -> 2
  • (their capacity upgrades now provide +1 capacity)
  • Ballista damage increased by about 70%, attack speed increased by 25%, push force also increased
  • Healer mage cast their heals twice as slower 1 -> 2 sec
  • NEW upgrades for Crystal mine, Vineyard, School of magic, University of magic each giving bonuses to production / speed
  • Poor tile was returned. Now it appears on a random cell of the castle edge. Productive tiles spawn in the center (they still require to be researched in the upgrade tree)
  • Mill and Forge appear more often in the shop
  • Some underused artifacts slightly buffed
  • Some underpowered spells buffed
  • Banish spell description made more clear. Banish duration decreased to 30 sec and brings 5 crystals per unit instead of 10 gold per unit


[h3]Fixes and improvements[/h3]
  • Ending screens are less abrupt and it is now also possible to hide them to see your final castle layout
  • Fixed a bug where you could send your troops to barracks during Dragon Boss special attack
  • Turned on background animations (flying birds and other activities)
  • Updated crystals and grapes with big sprites when at the shop

Demo Patch 0.5.4

Loyal subjects, hear ye!

Thanks to everyone who has shared feedback on our discord as well as steamcommunity forums. Update 0.5.4 contains balance changes aimed at buffing underpowered troops and making them more viable. The enemy waves were also rebalanced and are now harder after the 1st boss, yet the late game troops can take care of them. As these troops are much more useful now, there are more builds to play around.

[h2]Changes[/h2]

TROOPS:
  • Late game troops are stronger now and are produced faster (and cheaper)
  • Dragon Boss' HP, damage and fire breath damage are increased. Now he performs his special ability 3 times instead of 2


BUILDINGS:
  • Late game buildings are cheaper and more obtainable


SPELLS:
  • The spells unlocked via the upgrade tree are more powerful now


ENEMY WAVES
  • Waves after the first boss are harder and more tankier. As a result you have to rely more on the quality of your army rather than the damaging spells (spells are still very useful)



NEW BUILDINGS UPGRADES:

Stables:
  • Increases troops capacity by 2

Dragon oven:
  • Increases troops capacity by 2
  • Increases attack speed by 20%

Archery:
  • Increases troops capacity by 2 (replaced extra attack speed upgrade)

Academy of fire:
  • Increases troops capacity by 2
  • PREVIOUS upgrade reworked: now sets enemies on fire, dealing bonus damage over time
  • Ballista factory:
  • Increases damage by 15% and applies slow to enemies shot
  • Increases troops capacity by 2

Catapult factory:
  • Catapults receive 20% chance to stun enemies
  • Increases troops capacity by 2


OTHER:
  • Mill and forge can now be found both in Building T1 and T2 upgrades making them more common. Their production speed is also increased by about 50%
  • Spells are more rare now and the building upgrades are more common among the rewards
  • Cronenberg unit is now time limited and can no longer be used to spawn an infinite amount of junior cronenbergs
  • Twin arrows artifact no longer buffs just crossbowmen, now it buffs all of the ranged units, damage boost reduced: 6% -> 3%
  • Wine excavations now provides 1 wine for each Wheat field or Small wheat field every 10 seconds
  • Productive and poor tiles are now removed by default. Instead you can unlock 2 productive tiles via the upgrade tree


FIXES:
  • Some ui fixes improving usability
  • New branch of the game for the people who experience Win32 function 0x887a0005 CRASH
  • (has to be in a separate branch as it is a little unstable sometimes)

Find below the fixes and changes from patch 0.5.2:

  • Fixed the crashing when the player has collected all of the artifacts
  • Fixed the ability to endlessly buy the same upgrades
  • Basic construction building is now upgradable when the time is frozen
  • Fixed the issue where sometimes resource icons would disappear from descriptions
  • Fixed minor ui issues

Find below the fixes and changes from patch 0.5.1:

  • Fixed menu music not playing after leaving the run
  • Fixed the inability to take screenshots
  • Prevented screen breaking issue for some users
  • Moving a building now applies short term production debuff to it
  • Changed resource costs of buildings that produce mulpitle resources (e. g. Wood farm) from 50 wood each to 40 wood and 40 wheat each
  • Fixed minor ui issues
