Zeta Wolf Chronicles Enhanced Demo Arrives February 12 Ahead of Steam Next Fest!

[p]Greetings everyone! I must thank you once again for your patronage throughout the ebbs and flows of our development! Despite delays during the previous Next Fest, I am pleased to announce that the Zeta Wolf Chronicles Demo (version 4.4) will be released on February 12th, 2026 (for the first time on Steam). This is ahead of the official Steam Next Fest! Long-time followers will get the opportunity to play the release before its debut during the event! Here is a preview of what you can expect from this demo![/p][p][/p][p]Zeta Wolf Chronicles is a "sequel" to Zeta Wolf: First Bite and has been in varying stages of development since 2018, as well as hosting a successful Kickstarter in 2023. It's a sequel in the sense that the events follow up and occur successively after First Bite. [/p][p][/p][p][/p]
 • [p]10+ Hours of content![/p]
 • [p]Experience the prologue of 4 heroine routes![/p]
 • [p]Alphi/Ravia/Maikah routes are fully voiced![/p]
 • [p]Unlockable bonus content on demo completion![/p]
 • [p]Full demo carryover to the main game![/p]
[p][/p][p]This is a meaty demo that has been in development for roughly three years since our Kickstarter/Itch.io debut. If you managed to play that release, there is roughly 4 hours of additional content this time around! You can pick up where you left off by selecting “Timeline” in the main menu and navigating to the end of Day 6 before an official route/heroine is chosen. Some scenes prior to this convergence point have been slightly altered since the last release to make the transition more seamless.[/p][p][/p][p]Full release is planned for Q4 2026/Q1 2027, but more concrete dates will be available in the future! If you enjoyed the demo, be sure to add the full game to your wishlist! [/p][p][/p][p]Thanks again for your support. It helps tremendously to motivate me for the final push as we near the game’s completion and launch!  [/p]

Steam Cloud Support is Here + Zeta Wolf Chronicles Website Launch!

[p]Hello again, everyone, and thank you for supporting my game! I wanted to let everyone know that Steam Cloud support is now enabled! [/p][p][/p][p]This allows you to preserve your save states and unlocks across multiple PCs and handhelds! I personally tested this on Steam Deck, as well as Windows PCs, and it works like a charm! [/p][p][/p][p]In the context of First Bite and its lack of traditional saves, I wanted to clarify exactly what is "saved". Each new scene you unlock, CGs, and game completion are now saved to the cloud as long as it is enabled in Steam settings. Note: This should be enabled by default, so you shouldn't have to do anything. [/p][p][/p][p]If you haven't purchased the game, there's less than a day remaining of the Steam Summer Sale, where it is 55% off! [/p][p][/p][p]As we move on, I wanted to remind everyone of my larger-scale project, Zeta Wolf Chronicles, which has been in development since 2018! I've just recently launched a website where you can check out character profiles, listen to voiceovers, and get to know the ins and outs of everything Chronicles! [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p] Zeta Wolf Chronicles: Official Site [/p][p][/p][p]A 10-hour+ demo will be launched during Steam Fest in October, which will be free for everyone! Please give it a shot, then, and tell me what you think! Thanks for your continued support! [/p]

Zeta Wolf: First Bite Additional Voice Acting Patch is Here!

Thank you, everyone, for your continued support of the game! I've been meaning to implement these updates over the year, and they have finally arrived—just in time for Steam's Visual Novel Fest.
Updates for Version 1.2
• Inserted new promo video before starting a "New Game"
 • Adjusted some text in the prologue/ending scenes.
 • Added full voice acting to the Prologue and Ending scenes.

To clarify, there are 2k additional words of voice acting added. This includes the prologue (first scene) and ending scenes.

The new promo that I whipped together will be up on YouTube shortly. In the meantime, you can check it out on our Steam landing page for the game.

I've recently moved to Bluesky, so please follow our studio on that platform to keep up with all our games and development news!

In addition, I will be holding a Visual Novel Fest-specific event with free closed beta keys for my next game, Zeta Wolf Chronicles! This Kickstarter-backed game has been in development for a while and the (eventual) public demo offers nearly 10 hours of gameplay!

To be eligible you must leave a review (positive or negative) on Zeta Wolf: First Bite! Only the first 10 reviews will qualify. Thank you!

Please look forward to the official announcement of this event soon!

Version 1.1 Live! Bug fixes!

Thanks for your support everyone — during the launch and afterwards. This was my first commercial game release, and while I had a few hiccups here and there, I have learned quite a bit that I can apply to my next release, which is currently in development!

First Bite ended up being a very small side project and a "starter" game for me, much narrower in scope than Zeta Wolf Chronicles. Through it, I learned to iron out kinks in the game engine and succeeded in publishing and delivering my first game. Could things be improved? Certainly! The budget was minuscule for this game, so I did the best that I could with what I had. There is no doubt that Zeta Wolf Chronicles is a game 10 times greater in scope with a much larger cast and game script. Please look forward to it (hopefully in late 2025)!

Let's get onto the updates for this version, shall we?
Bug Fixes - Version 1.1
• Corrected numerous typos scattered throughout the game. - Thanks to community member “nd” on Discord for their generous contribution and feedback!
 • Adjusted the Scene Selection and “Save Data” mechanic to save your progress at the start of scenes rather than the end.
 • Fixed a bug with scene 2 showing a “No scene selected” error in the Scene Selection menu.

Thanks to the adjustments in how save data/progress is handled, it should be much less cumbersome to resume play. If everyone has any further input/suggestions please let me know in the comments on the discord!

Happy Belated Launch and Bug Fixes! (v.1.01)

Happy belated launch! With any game launch comes bugs that I swore I got the first time around! Apologies, I tried to tackle these as soon as I could. Please let me know if you encounter any further issues! Thank you for your support! I'm testing if this update breaks things, so if you encounter any issues I need to know ASAP!

Bug Fixes:

 • Fixed a crash where the game would freeze during the "Siona hug scene".
 • Fixed an issue where scene selection was unavailable from the main menu.
 • Adjusted Siona's outfit during one of her monologue scenes to "Casual Wear" (more fitting to the scene).

Known Issues:
The game randomly crashes when accessing certain menus. Still looking into a fix.

Also please check out this post in the community forums if you experience slowdown or have trouble running on Steam Deck. Thank you!
