Version 13: Fabric of Society Update

The Fabric of Society update introduces a cosmetic system with 45 new garments to drape over your hollowed-out husk—because if society’s crumbling, you might as well look decent on the way down, right?

More importantly, we’ve finally solved the dreaded rubberbanding issue that has plagued ANEURISM IV for so long. Movement is smooth, network stutters are gone, and the entire database system is now fully asynchronous, resulting in a massive performance leap. This is a foundational update—expect faster systems, sharper threads, and fewer ways to cheese the taxman. We'd like to thank everyone who helped us test this bug update.   • Increased default input queue size from 6 to 10.
  • Added a new command "servermonitor" and "servermonitorinterval" to view detailed network statistics.
  • Added a new command "setsendrate" to change the sendrate while the game is running (default 60).

We return with another essential patch! Though this update won't magically resolve all the netcode woes we've been battling, it's crucial for us to push out incremental improvements and fixes as quickly as we can. Rest assured, the fight against these dreaded network issues continues relentlessly.

  • Fixed players not being able to join certain servers.
  • Fixed a bug where players couldn't respawn.
  • Fixed warplanes not showing for late joiners.

  • Optimized all entities by lowering the update rate of identifiers.
  • Optimized washers and dryers.
Quality of Life Improvements
  • Added sorting to the server browser.
  • Added rot level to the server browser.
  • Extended server name space in the server browser.
  • Increased default server browser size.

Citizens of ANEURISM IV, we bring to you a small patch. For all those experiencing latency issues, we are continuing to work very hard on getting them resolved as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.

  • Fixed health-related exploit.
  • Fixed warplanes not being visible during wartime.
  • Fixed an issue where players were able to shoot through walls in thirdperson.
  • Fixed an issue where players wouldn't be able to respawn.
  • Fixed the distillery not resetting it's target product when empty.
  • Fixed 9x39 ammo.
  • Fixed inability to switch weapons when looking at limits.
  • Fixed being unable to add favourites via the ip input.
Quality of Life Improvements
  • Added more screen options such as exclusive full screen and maximized window.
System & Server Improvements
  • Recommended player count increased from 50 to 60.
  • Default tickrate increased from 30 to 60.
  • Decreased send rate of physics objects.
