Update to version 1.22

This update brings the prologue up to date with the main game. For a list of changes see this post: Update 1.2 Fate

Note: most of the new features are not available in the prologue, but there are many bugfixes and balance changes that should make the prologue more enjoyable to play.

Update to version 1.04

Hi all,

today we are releasing our regular weekly update. Most changes are either bugfixes or quality of life improvements:

  • Tooltips - we added tooltips to most UI elements throughout the game to help explain what certain things do
  • Buildings that create units now have a icon above them indicating when the next unit will be created
  • Game pause - several players asked for a way to pause the game so we added a new ability to all gods - freeze time! To use it, press SpaceBar (or "Y" on your controller) and the time will stop, but you will be able to move around and interact with the UI (read tooltips) etc.
  • After loading finishes when entering a region you will now need to press a key to continue - this will allow you to read tips and prepare for battle (unlike before where you have been thrown into it without warning)
  • Improved targeting of spells - when shooting buildings, projectiles will now hit the exact spot you chose, not the center of the building
  • Many smaller fixes and improvements

Prologue is now available!

[h2]Hello everyone![/h2]

After two weeks of delays due to some issues with getting the game approved by Steam, we finally got the green light from them and you can now play the free prologue!

You can try out two gods (Azzinoth the Fire God and Nadea the Water Goddess), unlock 5 prologue-specific achievements, and experiment with over 3 dozen unique spells and over 60 blessings (and curses!).

We are eagerly awaiting your feedback on our Discord (or on the Steam forums). Come hang out with us, share your thoughts, suggestions or just drop by to say hello! We are a small team but our community is friendly and welcoming, so do not hesitate to join us.

[h2]Known issues[/h2]

There are a few things we are still working on and know they need improvement:

  • Translations - a work in progress, if you find mistakes, do not hesitate to report them and if you want to help translate the game, let us know!
  • Resolution settings - we will be redoing it to a dropdown menu (instead of the current slider which does not work very well in some cases)
  • Balance- we are continuously playtesting the game and tweaking the power of spells and enemies, but given the sheer amount of possible combinations it is possible that some spells might feel weak. Rest assured we will address this in time.
  • Spell descriptions and tooltips - we are continously improving all the descriptions and tooltips to make everything more clear

Release pending Steam approval

Hello everyone!

Unfortunately we have some sad news - the release of the Prologue will have to wait a bit, possibly a few days. The reason for this is that Steam seems to be having some problems with the build and we are still missing the approval for it, even though it was submitted for review almost two weeks ago.

We are in contact with Steam support, but the answer so far is "you will have to wait a few more days". So I guess this is what we have to do.

Rest assured that as soon as we get the approval, we will release the prologue immediately. The game is ready and includes new content and prologue specific achievements for those who are into that :)
