Solace Inc. v1.6 - Fusion Update

Hey gang, new Solace Inc. update!! Yippee!!

The two main things this update adds are Endless Mode and Fusion Recruits!

[h3]Fusion Recruits[/h3]

A few weeks ago I made a drawing of some of the characters in Solace Inc. fused together just to see what they would look like, and I decided to add them into the game!



Fusion Recruits are characters that are created when playing as Jordan's little sister, Sarah! When recruits are near her, she will fuse them together which combines both their actives and passives into one!



(some of them are pretty powerful)



Fusions don't appear in the upgrade menu after you've unlocked them, so the only way to make them appear (aside from setting one as your leader) is to have Sarah on your team

[h3]Endless Mode[/h3]

Endless Mode is a new mission that appears before Mission 1 that works a little differently than the rest



It drops you into a randomized environment, and your objective is to stay alive for as long as possible! Research is disabled in this mission, and recruits can perish so make sure you keep them alive! There's also a leaderboard for this mission, so try to get the highest score possible! (I bet you can't beat mine)

There's also some other new stuff like new breakroom dialogue, visual changes, etc.



Also, to test out this update I added in a developer console to speed things up, if you want to play around with it you can open it up with alt



That's pretty much it, I'm probably going to do at least one small patch to include some new cameo recruits, if you encounter any issues with the game feel free to contact me on discord (@aplove) and I'll try to have it fixed asap

The game is also on sale for the Steam Spring Sale, so if you enjoy the game grab a copy for your friend! (it's required for 100% achievements)

Also, quick update on the mobile version: I've gotten back to working on it and am hoping to have it out on Google Play for Android soon! (hopefully by the end of the month)

    - fusion recruits normally cannot be recruited in the upgrade menu and will only appear if Sarah is present

Solace Inc. v1.5 - Valentine's Day Update

Hey guys! We've got another Solace Inc. update to celebrate Valentine's Day! πŸ’–

This update features Week 6, which has new missions that are holiday-themed! It also features new recruits, new enemies, new bosses, and a bunch of other small changes and additions! (and bug fixes of course)

[h3]New Missions[/h3]
Woah! Harpies? Cool!



Killer Snowmen? With guns??



[h3]New Enemies[/h3]
I've added in some new enemies to a few of the previous stages to spice them up a bit, such as a new enemy in the mining mission, enemies in both of the boss missions, and more!



[h3]New Lootcrates[/h3]
There are two new lootcrates under the research tab, the Employee Crate and the Ultimate Crate!

The former works like the Cameo Crate except it unlocks a random employee (one of my characters) so you don't have to go into the missions to unlock characters if you don't want, and the latter unlocks every single recruit in the game that you haven't unlocked yet at once! (although it's very expensive)



[h3]Other Minor Additions[/h3]

There's also some small changes like more stats on the pause screen/mission end screen, an auto upgrade option (so if you're playing as grim reaper the game doesn't stop every 2 seconds, or if you just wanna get wacky), and other stuff like the game now adjusting the resolution when you fullscreen it so the text doesn't look as weird as it did, I meant to fix that a while back but never got around to it lol

[h3]Valentine's Day Cards[/h3]

Some of the lovely ladies over at Solace made some Valentine's Day cards for you guys as well! πŸ₯ΊπŸ’•









I hope you guys enjoy this update! I really appreciate the support you guys have given the game so far (especially with the dialogue thing I talked about last week, thank you for the comments πŸ’–), I didn't really expect that many people to play or even like this game that much, and I wouldn't still be working on it if it weren't for the lovely people who play it so thank you guys πŸ₯ΊπŸ’•

Solace Inc v1.5 Update changelog
  • added week 6 (new missions)
  • added enemies and more enemy variety to some existing missions

    - employee crate unlocks a random solace employee you haven't unlocked yet
    - ultimate crate unlocks all curently locked recruits at once, although very expensive

    - this should make playing in fullscreen easier on the eyes
