[p]We are excited to announce that the next public alpha Playtest for Over The Top: WWI will begin on the 10th of December 2025! [/p][p][/p][p]Over The Top is opening its trenches again from Dec 10–14, and this round comes with a major update: the French faction is being added! [/p][p][/p][p]As previously announced we are looking to host a couple of public Playtests prior to release of Over The Top: WWI, so that we can find bugs, get feedback and tweak gameplay well ahead of the official release. [/p][p]Please keep in mind that the game is still in alpha and a number of features have not yet been implemented. There will be bugs and performance issues as well unfinished gameplay.

If you are interested in participating in the Playtest, you can register for it from our Steam Store Page. Once registered, you will be notified once the Playtest starts.

[p]Hey guys! The playtest is now live! 1st of November till the 2nd of November 2025! [/p][p][/p][p]We’ve done a massive overhaul of the weapon system: balancing, adjusting, and reworking nearly every gun to make them feel more authentic and true to history. Clip sizes, recoil,etc all fine-tuned to match their real-life counterparts.[/p][p][/p][p]But that’s not all, this update also brings a range of major and minor improvements across the board. You can check out the full list here:[/p][p][/p][p]Major changes:[/p]

• [p]Digging: Improved system to prevent floating objects.[/p]
• [p]Damage: New system for more reliable hit detection.[/p]
• [p]Balance: All weapons re-balanced; Armored class has less sprint and health.[/p]

[p]Fixes: [/p]

• [p]Fixed campaign issues, tank camo, grenade arc, and bulletproof bushes, plus general stability improvements.[/p]

[p]Minor changes:[/p]

• [p]Airplanes: Better flight controls.[/p]
• [p]Grenades: Improved throwing mechanics.[/p]

[p]Performance: [/p]

• [p]Various improvements have been made to performance.[/p]

[p]Interface: [/p]

• [p]Minor UI tweaks.[/p]

[p]Piano: [/p]

• [p]As per community request THE PIANO IS LOUDER!![/p]
