Or was it the promise of the ability to capture aliens & keep them as pets? Your answer probably says a lot about you, but we hope you know we love you all the same.

Anyway, the important news… We have a SHINY, BRAND NEW TRAILER coming *checks notes* TOMORROW live at PC Gaming Show Most Wanted! Live action. Gameplay. Aliens. Platforming. It’s got it all. We can’t wait for you to check it out.

We’re also VERY excited to share an update on our launch. We’ve locked down a month, & we’re gonna be revealing that tomorrow live at PC Gaming Show Most Wanted. Committing to a launch month is an awesome moment for our whole team who have been working incredibly hard behind the scenes - so you’ll forgive us if we get emotional.

I got ya - PC Gaming Show Most Wanted will be live from 12pm PST/3pm EST/8pm GMT/9pm CEST tomorrow (December 5th) - we’re sure we’ll be in good company, so you had better set a reminder & tune in tomorrow. Take notes. There will be a mandatory exam at the end.

New studio (but the same Savage Planet team), new game and a new pair of socks because we’re about to run you through what we’ve been workin’ on.

[h3]Gimme that sweet, sweet lore[/h3]

It’s been a while… Let’s get you caught up.

Kindred Aerospace, proudly the fourth-best space company, is now under new “management” from Alta InterGlobal. After spending nearly a century (wow you’re old!) hurtling through space in cryosleep, making sure you’re well-rested to colonize faraway planets, it turns out that you’re no longer needed and your contract is now toilet paper.

But hey, let's not dwell on minor setbacks like being stranded billions of miles from Earth. Let's focus on the silver linings: you haven’t become an alien lunch yet.

[h3]What’s new?![/h3]

Yeah we’ve been away a while but we’ve put that time to good use. We watered the plants, took origami lessons, but more importantly, built a big ol’ game for you to click buttons in. Here’s the low-down on what’s new in Revenge of the Savage Planet.

Split Screen - Remember those couch co-op moments? Shouting at each other? Pointing violently towards the screen shouting “GO THERE, DO THAT”? You’ll be able to sit on the same couch and experience new Savage worlds together. Don’t worry, there’s still online co-op AND crossplay too. You’re a spoilt bunch. We love it.

Now in Third Person! - Stare at your character’s derrière or the beautiful landscapes around you in FULL VIEW this time. We’d recommend the first part but there are nice plants too.

New Outfits - Research shows people care about what they look like, so we’ve added character customization. That red spacesuit looks great on you in third-person, so flaunt it, baby.

Interplanetary Exploration - What’s better than one planet? Two? Nope, FOUR. Explore multiple alien habitats each boasting different flora & fauna. There might even be more than four. Maybe. My lips are sealed.

Home Sweet Home - That janky spaceship you remember is a thing of the past. You’ve been upgraded to a penthouse suite (a.k.a Space Trailer) where you can show off all the weird & wacky things you’ve hoarded with pride.

New Weapo- I mean… New Tools - That thing that goes pew pew? It’s back! But we’re also handing you a less-than-lethal lasso you can use to capture little alien fellas and keep them in Pens near your fancy new house. Everyone needs friends & everyone needs a hobby. Two alien birds one massive stone.
