Revenge of the Savage Planet: Global Launch šŸŒŽšŸš€

It’s time for everyone to clock in. Or at least, it would be if you hadn’t been made redundant.

After 107 years spent in cryosleep & crash-landing on an alien planet in a faraway space system, we’re absolutely pumped to announce that REVENGE OF THE SAVAGE PLANET IS LIVE FOR ALL!

This isn’t a drill. This isn’t a teaser. This isn’t an elaborate HR onboarding simulation. We actually finished the game.
Cosmic Hoarder Goodies 🪐
While today marks the launch of our Standard Editions, which will grant you a free copy of Journey to the Savage Planet if you don’t already own it & a 10% discount until May 12, you can still upgrade to our previously-released Cosmic Hoarder Edition at any time! This comes with:

🟠 Limited edition skins
🟠 A digital artbook
🟠 A digital soundtrack
🟠 Four bonus missions

But no matter your choice, this space adventure is now open for YOU.

Every biome, every creature, every jet-fueled faceplant, it’s all here.

Everyone here at Raccoon Logic will be listening, updating & sprinkling in more chaos as we go but for now, all that’s left for us to do is leave you with this message:

Patch Notes - 2025-5-6-95793

Dear Space Pioneers,

The team has been working hard to hunt down, identify, and resolve the issues you've encountered so far. As a reminder, please head to the official Discord if you have any issues or questions. You'll be able to report your bugs in the technical section, at the bottom of the server,

And please follow the template given: it's not an Alta Sheanigans, it's made to help you even faster!

Version number: 2025-5-6-95793

 • Fixed one of the Kindex categories tab that would never unlock. It will now unlock whenever player scans something that goes in that category.

 • Fixed upgrade "The 'Fancy Nancy' Equipment Tagger" that behaved as if it was acquired from the very start of the game, marking all collectibles on the map as you survey them, while the intended behavior is for players to have to craft that upgrade in order to see those icons on the map.

 • Added additional display refresh rate options, including those natively supported by the display device, as well as an option to disable vertical sync for potentially better performance at the expense of screen tearing.

 • Optimized different cutscenes to remove GPU spikes and keep a more stable framerate.

 • Fixed some input-related issues for keyboard vs controller.

Thank you! And keep sending us your feedback!

SEE YOU IN REVENGE OF THE SAVAGE PLANET, EXPLORERS! 🧔

Dave the Diver is coming to Revenge of the Savage Planet! 🤿

The ocean’s most iconic diver is swapping sea exploration for space exploration!

Yup, DAVE THE DIVER is joining Revenge of the Savage Planet & he’s bringing his goggles, gut & distinguished seafood-scented energy along for the ride.

No matter which version of the game you own - Standard, Day One or Cosmic Hoarder - Dave will be available to unlock in all his glory. It’s pure, unfiltered Dave, ready to flail across alien worlds like the absolute unit he is.
So… Why Dave? 🄽
Because it makes absolutely no sense & that’s why we love it.

Dave is a man of the sea. You are… sorry, WERE an employee of an intergalactic megacorp. He spearfishes. You slap fish. Yet somehow, this just feels right.

Two very different games. One shared love for weirdness, exploration & the occasional unexpected creature encounter.

P.S We just really wanted to see what Dave would look like with a jetpack on his back.
P.P.S It’s majestic.
Dave’s right around the corner šŸ‘€
Dave will be available as early as TODAY when our Cosmic Hoarder edition drops, giving you three days of early access & plenty more exclusive goodness!

You won’t gain any advantages but you will look fantastic while screaming through the Zenithian Rift with lava on your back & ice shards in your goggles.

Big thanks to our friends at MINTROCKET for letting us bring Dave into this absurd universe. You’ve made Revenge of the Savage Planet slightly more wholesome… & damp.

Revenge Of The Savage Planet (PC) Review

Revenge Of The Savage Planet ditches its first-person camera for a third-person action-adventure romp while also cranking things way up with bigger biomes, bigger threats and plenty of irreverent humour that manages to illicit laughs without resorting to too many cheap or dirty jokes that lessen the experience.

I’ll just go ahead and say it: if you’re a fan of the original Journey to the Savage Planet, then Revenge of the Savage Planet is a must-play action adventure game, particularly if you have a friend to play through its co-op campaign with. Revenge of the Savage Planet follows the exploits of intrepid adventurers who are tasked with cataloguing all manner of flora and fauna across four distinct planets (and a final mini-biome) while also uncovering the truth behind some mysterious relics scattered across the game world.

Although admirable in size, the biomes and planets in Revenge of the Savage Planet feel considerably larger than those in the... Read more
