While I'll always have an affinity for RE5, Resident Evil Outbreak and its sequel File 2 are the best co-op games in the survival horror series. Tense multiplayer action in that old-school style, with a touch of randomization to keep repeat runs fresh and danger lurking around every corner, makes the PS2 pair beloved cult classics to this day. We may not get an official remake any time soon, but new Steam game Blood Typers is here to fill the gap - and it combines the format with another iconic PC zombie game favorite, Typing of the Dead.
