The Collectables Update

Hello Creators!

Turns out Thing is quite the collector, and now its collection can be yours. These shiny new figurines — which feature your favorite Creativerse mobs like Pigsy, Leafi, Chizzard, Rambeau, Rockster, Keepa, and more — will look great in your builds! So if you're feeling adventurous, head down to the Corruption Layer and fight or tame some Things to start collecting. It won't be easy but it will be worth it.

In addition, we have some new items and a bunch of improvements, including a big overhaul to loot from treasure chests, which are now way more rewarding. We've added the ability to customize the length of timers in advanced world options, so now you can process and forge everything in 1 second if you like. There’s several new chat commands that add some useful tinkering abilities. And more!

This update also removes the ability to migrate your old worlds (...end of an era). Until next time...stay creative!

version 4.0.0

PSA: Only 2 weeks left to download your worlds!
Hello Creators,
How goes the building and adventuring in Creativerse? Hopefully fantastically!

We wanted to remind you of the upcoming April 6th deadline—a little over 2 weeks from now—before we have to shut down the original Creativerse servers.

This is your last chance to download your own worlds, or any whitelisted public worlds (search for “migrationallowed” in the migration tab).

Once the servers are shut down, we won’t be able to recover any world data. We know our players have put millions of hours into building amazing things, so please take the time to download and backup it up!

If you haven’t yet purchased The Definitive Edition, now would be a great time as the game is currently 50% off for the Spring Sale. Also don’t forget if you’ve spent over a certain amount on Creativerse, we’ll gift a copy of the game to any friend of your choosing. The deadline to apply for that is March 31. More details here.

Our next update is coming soon! Until then, stay creative!!

Get Creativerse 50% off, plus a free copy of the game for a friend
Hello Creators,
We wanted to let you know about some special deals going on right now, as well as an extension of the deadline to migrate worlds.

But first, the deals!
1. The Definitive Edition of the game is 50% off this week!
If you haven't picked it up yet, this is a great chance to get the new, improved, and future-proofed version of the game.

Go directly to the store page:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/280790/Creativerse/
2. We are pleased to announce a new promotion we like to call "More Creatifriends!"
We are offering a FREE copy of The Definitive Edition to any friend of your choosing if you've supported us above a certain amount.

Specifically, if you've spent more than $30 USD on the game, or, for international players, the equivalent of $30 USD in your local currency, which might look like one of the following combinations:

 • Pro + Welcome Bundle DLCs
 • Pro + any 2 coin bundles
 • Pro + any 1 coin bundle + Soundtrack DLC
 • Creativerse: The Definitive Edition + Soundtrack DLC
 • Any combination of coin bundles equal to $30 USD (or local equivalent)

And if you've spent more than $60 USD (or local equivalent), you can pick TWO friends to get the game for free!

Just send your player name or Steam ID to [email protected] with the subject "free copy for a friend" and we'll get it sorted.

The deadline to contact us is MARCH 31.

If you aren't sure if you qualify, email us anyway and we'll figure it out with you. Because the game is always better with more Creatifriends!

UPDATE, 2/7: One point of clarification: if you purchase The Definitive Edition on sale plus the soundtrack you won't qualify for the free copy unless you also have purchased $10 USD (or local equivalent) in coins OR the Welcome Bundle.
DATA DEADLINE EXTENSION
We’ve decided to extend the deadline for migrating your worlds and data an additional 30 days. This means you have until APRIL 6 to download your data from our servers before we have to shut them down.

Remember, you can download local copies of any world you owned before we switched to The Definitive Edition. You can also download any worlds that other players have flagged to allow public migration (and there are a bunch of popular ones out there, e.g. the Playfulverse worlds we featured on livestreams back in the day).

They are all yours for the taking but please remember to migrate them before April 6, 2023!

That's it for now. We are hard at work on the next update, which we hope to release before the end of the month. In the meantime, stay creative!

Creativerse soundtrack available now!

Is a Definitive Edition of a game truly definitive without a released soundtrack? A moot question as of today.

Available now, the official 54-track score for Creativerse weaves through the peaks and valleys of a sandbox limited only by your imagination. Featuring original music by David Chow and Max Cominos, the soundtrack includes 38 never-before-released tracks. It also includes fully remastered versions of the 16 tracks we previously released on Bandcamp. And it's available both in MP3 and lossless WAV formats.

The soundtrack to exploring, adventuring, and building is a VIBE, and now you can take it with you anywhere.

We hope you enjoy it!

 • Added clientside Netstats page (signal / bars button on the Player List)
