Battlefield 6 | REDSEC Nightfall Mode Guide

Hagental Base is the featured map in Season 2 Nightfall, where squads must plunge beneath the surface and prepare for gripping underground close-quarters combat.
In the Battlefield 6 Nightfall event playlist, a power failure has plunged most of the base into pitch black darkness, requiring the use of NVGs and flashlights to navigate, making the darkness your secret weapon to use against enemy forces. Within that playlist, squads can compete in a mix of Team Deathmatch, Squad Deathmatch, and Domination matches on Hagental Base. All matches will take place with Nightfall’s Darkness modifier active.
In REDSEC, climb the ranks by eliminating the competition across Hagental Base in Gauntlet: Nightfall, enhanced with new darkness features where flashlights, thermal optics, and night vision goggles are your closest allies.
If you can master Gauntlet: Nightfall, then you are more than prepared to deploy into 6 modes and 4 maps during the Battlefield 6 Free Trial*, available March 17 to March 24.
Remember, take advantage of the darkness. Mold your squad strategies around Hagental Base’s dark areas. NVGs aren’t the only way to see through the dark: try thermal attachments or shed some light on the fight with a flashlight.
And some walls are just suggestions. Learn Hagental Base’s destructible walls and collapsible ceilings to create new paths, surprise enemies, and deal damage.
