Welcome back to devlog#2 of 🍬 Candy Shop Simulator! Today we’ve prepared a cool feature for you to check out!

In our game there’ll be an option to customize your character. It’s not going to be anything complex but you’ll get to make choices on the following elements:

- gender
- skin color
- eye color
- head shape
- hair
- clothes

We wanted to give you some way to make your character more personalized to allow you to further immerse yourself in the candy shop experience! 💪

On top of that, we do understand that the looks can get boring and you might want to mix things up a little. That’s why we’ve introduced ways to change your appearance during the gameplay! 🤩 With the help of shops in your city (That you can visit with the previously mentioned bike 🚲) you can change your character to some degree.


These shops are the hairdresser and the clothing store. 👕 Although you can’t change your eye color or the shape of your head, it is only natural to change your style once in a while, isn’t it?

[h3]Welcome to the first devlog from most likely the most sugar-packed game on Steam! 🤤 We’re happy to see you’re interested in our game and today we’d like to outline the ideas for the gameplay. As you may have guessed, it is another game in the “Pet Shop” universe! ❤️ If you’re not familiar with the title, you may want to check it out in the link below! 👇[/h3]

As the name suggests, you’ll become an owner of your own candy shop! 🍭 Your assortment will consist of both sweets ordered from other producers and the ones you’ll produce. We’re sure you’ll be interested in hearing more about this mechanic that’s why we’ll create a separate devlog all about making sweets! 🍫

You’ll also get to experience other everyday activities necessary for smooth operation of your store- selling products at checkout, restocking the shelves etc.

We’ll also introduce a bike delivery mechanic. 🚲 You’ll be able to deliver the sweets from your shop to your customers’ doorsteps using a cool bike. The ordered sweets will mostly consist of hand made cakes and cupcakes. 🧁 This part of the city is bike-friendly and there are almost no cars in there. (With an exception for the delivery trucks with all the necessary supplies for your store). On top of that, the bike will undoubtedly help you to arrive at many service points such as hairdresser. ✂️

Be careful though, there is a deadline for delivery and missing it will make the client drop a negative review for your shop, not to mention revoking the order. 🙁

This brings us to today’s question: Would you like to be able to have some customization options for your bikes? Let us know in the comments! 💬

There’s one more interesting feature available in the game- the building where your shop is placed…🔨 You’ll be the one to create it! This will allow you to plan the inside of your store and adjust it so it accommodates your gameplay tactic the best! With that being said, it is another big mechanic which most definitely deserves a separate devlog so we’ll make sure to talk about it in more detail on another occasion. 💪
