Hello Tiny Gardeners!

We've had a very exciting launch week with so much love pouring out from our community. We've listened to feedback and identified the biggest issues in the current build, and we feel confident that we've fixed them. Here are the latest patch notes 👇

• Improved VRAM usage through resource indirection and texture compression (basis universal).

• Fixed korean delete_data string.
  
• Added generic tree icon to climbers catalog cards
  
• Enlarged seeder sign icons.
  
• Fixed bug where previous compost tiles were incrementing the Steam stat when loading a game.

A few players have experienced and issue which stopped them from opening the game. We've managed to figure out a fix for this. However, if you open the game and are still experiencing issues, please follow the below steps 👇

[h3]Toggle Steam Cloud Off[/h3]

1. In your Steam library, highlight Tiny Garden
   
2. Right click Tiny Garden and select [Properties]
   
3. In the General tab, toggle OFF the Steam Cloud setting (see screenshot)

[h3]Accessing the AppData[/h3]
To access the AppData folder, please following the below instructions.

1. Open File Explorer
   
2. Select the 'View' tab
   
3. Tick the 'Hidden Items' box

[h3]Deleting the Tiny Garden folder[/h3]
Note: The YOURNAME part is entirely depending on your system/names

1. Follow the path: C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming
   • Select the C drive
     
   • Select Users
     
   • Select YOURNAME (depending on your login)
     
   • Select AppData
     
   • Select Roaming
2. Delete the 'Tiny Garden' folder
   
3. Try launching the game.

If you are still experiencing a crash after taking these steps, then the issue is likely seperate to the bug that other's are experiencing. At which point, you should join our discord server and send over your game logs so that we can help you further!

Hi there Tiny Gardeners!

Here is the latest on the update for Tiny Garden that we have just uploaded. More fixes are still planned and known issues are listed at the bottom!

• Fixed minor decoration placement bugs and improved usability.
  
• Fixed Cursor tutorials appearing over menus.
  
• Minor improvements to some inputs ("Esc" key can no longer be used as a right click in certain situations).
  
• Added terrain types button in Catalog and improved sold out items icon visibility.
  
• Saved item selector current filter and fixed order bug when loading. Credits are now preloaded to make them open faster.
  
• Letter menu page index and buttons are now only visible when there is more than 1 page.
  
• Improved main menu button indicator. Fixed bad editing HUD icon.
  
• Tool card terrains list moved out of background so that it is not darkened when sold out.
  
• Removed close button shadow from tutorials.
  
• Added call to action to seeder enhancer menu HUD button.
  
• Improved seeder animations.
  
• Added key to item selector category buttons.
  
• Added feedback to the currently selected button in editing HUD.
  
• Added initial decoration and sticker, changed order of some resources.
  
• Implemented editing HUD new element notifications. Fixed decoration placement bug.
  
• Small outline icons implemented.
  
• Fixed LoadingScreen unloading ItemViewer too soon.
  
• Softlock tutorials.
  
• Improved Sprayer usage and implemented fire extinguishing.
  
• Fixed Jalapeno EventEmitter3D bug and preventively fixed all EventEmitter3Ds.
  
• Fixed Steam API initialization not requesting stats.
  
• Fixed achievement spam on logs.
  

The key known issue is the game crashing when opening for some players. We're still actively fixing this, meaning some may still experience it after this patch!

Happy Wednesday Tiny Gardeners! 🥕

It's officially been 24 hours since we've launched and we're so excited by all the wonderful feedback and love that our community has given back to us

[h3]Launch Hotfix ⚒️[/h3]
We plan to release a quick hotfix today addressing some easy to fix issues within Tiny Garden. These include things like the achievement bug and a cursor bug. Also some minor visual improvements and more.

[h3]Crash Bug 👷‍♂️[/h3]
An issue that some players have come across a bug that crashes the game when it's first opened. We, unfortunately, were not able to find this bug while testing the game. After investigating, it seems like it is an issue with the engine and will take a little longer to fix it. In the mean time, here are some fixes that we believe might help:

• Double check your system meets the minimum specs on the Steam store page.
  
• Verify your game files. Right click the game in Steam library -> Select Properties -> Select Installed Files tab -> Select [Verify Integrity of game files]
  
• Uninstall the game and redownload it.
  
• For some people, it might be a case of making sure they meet the minimum specs on the systems they're playing on as some of the logs indicate they are under spec.
  
• For anyone playing on laptops with dual graphics cards, try switching from the integrated graphics card (if it defaults to that) to the dedicated graphics card.
  Note: The laptop power mode may impact this, so check this setting to prioritise performance

If none of these working, then you will have to wait until we sort out the fix. We're so sorry that this has come up. It is our top priority to fix it.
