Although it was a brief test period with limited content due to the early stage of development, we could feel the interest and expectations of many people for .

We felt the weight of the responsibility to develop a better game in return.


We have carefully reviewed all the detailed feedback shared throughout the game, and the development team continues to consider how to improve the game to make it more enjoyable and satisfy a wider range of players.

We cannot immediately provide details about the next test schedule or launch date, but will do our best to present an improved version of the game, to meet your expectations in a timely manner.

Additionally, if you wish to provide more detailed feedback about the game, you can also participate in the survey which will be open until tomorrow (3/19 01:00 PDT).

We would like to inform you about an important issue that has been identified during the pre-alpha test.


We have confirmed difficulties with gameplay on certain PC specifications due to compatibility issues with Unreal Engine 5.

Here are the details:

• Incompatibility with Direct X11 (Only Direct 12 is supported)
• Game crash issues due to specific AMD Radeon graphics cards and drivers
  

Although we provided initial workarounds earlier today (03/14), ongoing crash issues may persist on devices with the mentioned specifications during the pre-alpha period.


We apologize for any confusion caused by repeated announcements.

Below are Known Issues during the pre-alpha test.


[h3]■ 3/14(Thu.) Known Issues [/h3]

• Cannot start the game while using certain AMD Radeon series graphics cards.

Please follow the initial workaround steps below for this issue:

1. Right Click Vindictus: Defying Fate Playtest on Steam Launcher
   
2. Click [Properties]
   
3. Go to [General] and type -dx11 in [LAUNCH OPTIONS]
   

Please note that frame rate drops or crashes may occur depending on the type of graphics card after following the workaround above.

• Crash upon launching with a pop-up saying 'Please install the latest driver version or switch to a different rendering API.'

Please update your Graphics Driver to the latest version to resolve this issue.

• An intermittent issue where the game freezes during the network connection. (NEW)

You may play the game normally by restarting the game from the Steam Library from 3/13 8:52 PM PDT.

• An issue where [Camera Control: Vertical] and [Camera Control: Horizontal] - [Inverted] is not being reflected, when applied from [Title > Settings]. (NEW)

Settings will be reflected normally if it's applied during the gameplay.

Our developers are currently working to identify and resolve the cause of the issues, and we will make every effort to resolve them.

Please understand the issues may not be addressed during the pre-alpha test period.

Even if there are inconveniences such as lag during the game, we kindly ask for your understanding and assure you that we are committed to optimizing the gaming experience for your enjoyment.

※ Please be aware that any gameplay data accumulated during the pre-alpha test period will be completely reset once the test ends.

• Log in with your Steam ID and access the Store Page.
  
• Click [Request Access] in the Playtest participation section on the store page.
