Hei Outlanders,

24 hours after the release of Vigor into Early Access on Steam, we have seen many of you raising a couple of concerns. Let us address them.

We created some confusion regarding the co-op feature by having the tag on the Steam page without enabling the feature for Early Access. We have now modified the Steam tags and description to reflect reality. We apologize for any confusion, and we thank you for bringing this to our attention. You can currently play the Elimination mode in teams.

Unfortunately, at this point, we cannot promise that this feature will become available during Early Access, but our team will discuss the options available to make your gaming experience as smooth as possible. We can assure you that you'll be able to play alongside your friends in the Outlands after the full release.

We are also currently working on a fix for an issue causing Encounters not to register for some of our Outlanders, making progress impossible. We did our best to tackle this today, but unfortunately, the issue seems to be complicated, and it's likely that it will persist for a couple of days.

We are aware that the Lone Wolf mode causes infinite queue times, and we’re looking into this as well.

The moment that many of you have been waiting for is finally here! Today marks the beginning of a new chapter in Vigor's history as the Early Access on Steam is now live! You can now explore the majestic yet dangerous Outlands on your PC.

An integral part of Early Access is the Reinforcements Pack (without purchasing it, you cannot play on Steam), which contains an exclusive uniform and a special title that you can wear as a badge of honor by being one of the very first to play Vigor in this new chapter. The pack also contains a set of weapons and consumables from all rarities that will help you kickstart your journey as you become the ultimate Outlander in perilous Norway. This pack may only be purchased once per account for $19.99 and is available for a limited time during Early Access.



As we mentioned before, once Early Access is finished, and we prepare for the full release of the game, all progress made on PC will be wiped, but you will get to keep all the contents from the Reinforcements Pack!

Now, on to the second important part of the Early Access - the improved gunplay! We've spent a fair amount of time on bringing this much-requested weapon overhaul to you, and we decided to make it an exclusive feature of Early Access so that all Outlanders who participate, can provide us with some much valuable feedback through our socials or our feedback tracker. That way, together we can help shape the PC version into a more refined and better experience.



For the duration of Early Access, PC Outlanders will get to progress through the Battle Pass of Vigor Chronicles: Isolation. This Season introduced Eikevjen as a new Shootout map, the much-anticipated smoke grenade, an improved melee combat system, and the M14 Assault Rifle!

• You currently can not play with your friends (Duos and Trios are not supported in Early Access)
• The Quickplay feature not working properly in other languages besides English
  
• Holster weapon in tutorial missing UI key icons
  
• An incorrect UI key Icon is shown in the tutorial for vault and climb actions
  
• Invite Friend Feature and View Profile Feature is not implemented for Early Access
  
• You will need to manually set your graphics quality
  
• The textures option was removed from the Early Access
  
• Default controls will receive tweaks
  
• Ergonomics stat is not translated
  
• Control Scheme section and crosshair settings are not translated
  
• The widget for reset confirmation is not translated
  
• Anikken and Batterie: Snodekt map not featured in the Early Access build rotation
  
• Cannot leave the Shootout match after holding the respective button. A mouse click will work

Exciting news—DayZ is set to embrace fire and ice with the upcoming DayZ Frostline Expansion! Get ready to embark on an adventure in a brand new location: the Sakhal archipelago. This expansion introduces a whole new survival challenges, spread over 83km² of volcanic land, icy seas, and treacherous terrains. We hope that your anticipation is high for this fall's release, and you can now wishlist Frostline on Steam.



The centerpiece of the expansion is the Sakhal terrain, inviting you to explore its rugged and desolate reaches. Unlike previous locations, you'll play as a survivor seeking refuge in the rumored safe haven of Sakhal, only to face an unforgiving environment frozen both in time and climate. Despite its brutality, Sakhal promises beauty at every perilous turn, with frozen lakes, snow-draped forests, and frosty peaks.



The proximity to volcanic regions amplifies the hazards, doubling the threats you'll face. Although the terrain may be more compact compared to previous ones, each new challenge in the expansion will deliberately decelerate your progress, compelling you to recalibrate your playstyles.



To survive, you'll need to adapt like the new region-specific wildlife species acclimated to the cold, equipping winter-themed cosmetics to brave the elements and uncover Sakhal's intriguing structures and points of interest.



Preparation is key to survival, and as the frost sets in, only those with ice in their veins and fire in their hearts will endure.
